Good/bad

Samsung CLX Series CLX-3185FW MFC / All-In-One Up to 17 ppm 2400 x 600 dpi Color Print Quality Color Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB / Wi-Fi Laser Printer
Samsung CLX Series CLX-3185FW MFC / All-In-One Up to 17 ppm 2400 x 600 dpi Color Print Quality Color Ethernet (RJ-45) / USB / Wi-Fi Laser Printer

Pros: Small footprint, ready to print pretty quick. For home use good print/scan quality, speed.

Cons: Can't get print to work wireless with Ubuntu via router but wired network is fine. Can't get scanner to work with Ubuntu wired or wireless. Windows setup no issue both wired and wireless through router. However to use the Web print utility you need to use older versions of IE or Firefox. Samsung does not seem to update that utility after initial release.

Overall Review: I don't print a lot so most every time I would use the bubble jet it would require three, four maybe ten cleaning cycles to get a clean print. That of course meant I might need an entire set of ink cartridges to print one page. This replaces an Epson cx4600.

Buggy

KWorld SA295-Q DE External ATSC/QAM TVBox HDMI Edition
KWorld SA295-Q DE External ATSC/QAM TVBox HDMI Edition

Pros: Tuner function works fine. Great picture. Gets all available channels and the sub-channels. low price compared to the few other STB.

Cons: There is a bug. In L.A. there is a channel on 62 and if you go up another it should roll over to ch2 and if you go down from ch2 it should roll to ch62, but it locks up, no picture or sound and will not respond to the remote or any buttons on the box. You have to unplug the power to restart it. Remote is mediocre, with poor markings.

Overall Review: The only way to get around the lockup is to unplug the antenna and redo the auto scan so it finds no channels, because you can't erase the auto programmed channels. Now that is has no programmed channels you re scan for channels using the manual function and don't choose ch 62. Now it rolls from high channel to low, and vice versa, OK. Sent first unit in for replacement. Didn't figure out the fix until I found the second unit had same problem and realized it is a generic bug not just a failure in the first box. I didn't want to go in circles about it with Newegg or the manf so I spent more time looking for a fix. Cost me the return shipping on the RMA.
