Pros: The receiver chip is hidden in the mouse near where U put the batteries so just an FYI for all
Cons: Newegg Flash means mine didnt come w/the driver cd or Batteries.
Overall Review: Just remember to read and research and compare before U buy from Newegg nowadays. They arent "Automatic" as in days of old. So Do Your Research first!
Pros: Nice to have at times and cats love to chase the led light on the floor!
Cons: Would be better to buy 2 to determine which 1 is more accurate against a Mercury Thermometer test - - then just give away the worser on to a friend as a Holiday gift !
Overall Review: Don't shine in Cats Eyes !!
Pros: Bright as heck, have no problems seeing 300+ yards. It seems equal to my old Brinkman 1,000.000 CP std. search lamp!
Comes w/belt carrying case
Cons: Cant Adjust beam and the balance of the light is severly heavy on the lamp end. So U are forced to most always grip it w/the whole hand !
Not a weight saver if U have to pack it around hiking or such.
Overall Review: Takes some weight off the head of the lamp and add beam adjustment and it would be 5 eggs.
Too heavy on lamp end and too short/unbalanced to use as an emergency weapon of defense. If it had a longer tail w/1 extra battery this would be the coolest light I'v ever used in my 55 year old history !
Pros: Simply put a very useful tool when one needs such a thing every 5 to 10 years
Overall Review: Allows U to check out all the places U could never see before.
Pros: No Dead Pixels = works as claimed
Cons: Tried for Days and online rebate wont accetp phone or Zip Numbers and No Luck to date. I work during their business hours. 1 Would think a GLOBAL Company would have a 24 Hour Phone Number to Help Potential Customers! ALSO Dont believe the mail they send U claining a response w/in 48 hours = It is a Lie Too.
Overall Review: Tried for Days and online rebate wont accetp phone or Zip Numbers and No Luck to date. Pros: Well, it works so far, Modular design is nice to save on un-necessary Mass gobs of un-needed wiring. It has a 7 year warranty which means in Corsair terms it should last 3 years. Sorry for the Mispells - 1 catchs a Free High just smeling it run !
Cons: As Consumers I feel it is HIGH TIME we All start to ASK = "What is the Chemical Compound", of ALL Chinese products that We ALLOW into our homes. There NEEDS to be a Regulated "Smell Risk Rating" of some type passed int Law. From Ink to plastics to paint to ect. THE SMELL of the PS Unit Box alone was worse than airplane glue mixed w/paint thinner! I had to put all parts outside for 2 DAYS ! - Just to make it "Breathable", which Failed, - Because, as we all Know, when a PS first warms up, So does all the Smelly Stuff too. U may wanna start it outside and load it up (computer load) and let it run an hour. It was Like getting a Bottle of "Rush" back in the 70's (or so I hear). EVEN my Cat ran/rolled Outside due to the Poison smell !! I may have ate lead based paint chips as a child - I NEED NO more of it now. 1969 we walk on the moom. 2012 -we finally get to smell what China is like. Cancel my travel Plans ! Upside is the nice little Buzz 1 gets from just starting up my computer now.
Overall Review: Comes in a alleged Chinese Felt Bag, yet NO rubber caps for Unused ends, use 1 time zip ties and 12 (of the 18) cords that most will never use THAT, = U guessed it, Comes in a Velcro STINKY Bag ! Whopping 2 1/2 page x 25 language USELESS owners manuel. A person NEW to building computers would BE Horrified! They dont even lable the Modular sockets = DID U Know U can Plug a PCI-E end into the 4 post CPU inlet on the Motherboard ?? There is NO Rational thinking to the extras of this PS, 1 feels he is getting a bag of leftovers. My last Corsair PS Blew up and threw spaks into a closet! Lucky I was home, it could of potentially burnt my House down if I were away when it happend. That 1 had a 5 year warranty and lasted 2 years. Great Memory but Corsair SHOULD be Highly EMBARRASED of what they poison us with. This Serious, The TIME is Now to end our homes of such Potential carcinigens, cancer causing chemicals. Anyone 25 and Younger though is going to Lack in Wisdom and enjoy the free high!
Pros: Loooks nice, wires and connections nicely wrapped, looks cool but --
Cons: It BLEW up, Taking out most of my computer DUE to It's internal fault/POWER Surge ! IT was Supposed to Protect me from that, IT DID NOT ! The Smoke rolled out the back and IT may have Burnt my house down if I hadnt been home. Powered by APC Battey back ups 950 - not just a cheap surge protecter - IT blew electrical Sparks back into a closet 4 feet back and onto clothing ! I was only 3 feet away when it happened. Corsair needs to change their name to Dragon, great memory but High Risk Power Supplies. YES, I am VERY upset, I have to replace my whole computer. Nonetheless Trickery in advetising, and similar ratings on newegg Make Corsair PUNITIVE at a minimum. Dont EVER believe that just because a product has a Massive warranty, That it means it's Safe and Reliable. WHO pays ME for the Thousands of hours I had into my machine? ALL is scrap except the Case ?? !! Yes I had a USB backup hard drive w/ALL 10 Years of info on it, but the surge killed it to.
Overall Review: - 2 years, = I got 2 years on a 5 year warranty - A Fire Hazard China Made Power Supply. I might as well shop at Walmart if I wanted to buy Chinese forced labor products. Lead paint up in SMOKE, I had to evac the family from the home for 3 hours, at night, in the middle of winter in Idaho ! All doors and windows open and heat on full so I wouldnt freeze Up. That to was an Additional COST I encoured Due to this power supply, Who PAYS for the misc. $$ in l lost ? IT Truly misleads people, these Bogus warranties. NO I'm Not Happy, there's children in my house. This CORSAIR Unit Risked All of our lives that nite. Maxed out my system "may" have pulled temp. 400 watts MAX. This units a disgrace. I suggest NEWEGG print ALL of this as the poison laden chemical mixtures can be verified. The Egg has always been fair to me - I cant see them pulling these facts from the Public. We shall see though, we shall see
Pros: Rock solid std. performance memory
Overall Review: watch out on some HP pavillion notebooks as stock cas is 6, this one is 5 - in the midst i lost my dual channels. Alas, i await another sale and free shipping. lol.
Pros: Very quiet and does as sdvetised. Not an earth mover but a great addl' case fan. It says 1200 rpm yet mine has been up to almost 1400rpm w/mobo auto adjustment - very quirt
Pros: It's good enough that u can OC within reason and not fear of instant death. Keep it w/in it's voltage, crank down the #'s and let her rip!
Cons: Odd color - no swoosh like the red one, lol.
Overall Review: For the price these little guys give you decent security against death and do as advertised.
Pros: Simply put it does as it says and represents its advertising well.
Cons: None to date
Overall Review: Bigger is better, but hey, this 4 gig. is a good start
Pros: It was pretty and highly ranked but Newegg may lose a customer here. I do promise to let all know the outcome of my situation-BUT what GOOD is it to spend more $ in trying saving a few bucks? (is that a misnomer/oxymoron?)
Cons: In 10 years I have never had a memory stick go bad on me. Please, I ask no pitty here, just a functional understanding ok. I am a 49 year old/permanently disabled single parent and I just finished my 11th surgey on Tuesday 6-2-09. Purchased on 5-1-09 this 2x1gig set did its job-for a bit of time. 2 weeks in and I realized my Biostar bios and AMD utility NO LONGER showed the DUAL CHANNEL capability. Then on Tuesday, just prior to MY leaving for surgery,- while simply staring at an e-mail - wham bam and a blue screen w/alot of white words and then a dead freeze, all w/in 1/4 of a second. I was running only that 1 e-mail program and the memory has never been overclocked past 1.94 volts. I have no use to OC, nor am I a gamer. Anyway 1 stick is dead and I am suspect of the 1 that I am left to run on now- how do U replace just 1 stick and still have a matched set? How do U have a computer when these are the only 240 pin sticks that U have? Yes it must be a G-s KILL! and maybe a boiled egg?
Overall Review: Newegg, (in printed words) seem pretty clear on their replacement policy. My stick died 1 day past coverage. Living on a fixed income I have spent nearly $500.00 in building my "egg" computer over the last 4 months. Most of us are tight on a budget nowdays anyway. G-sKILL - IN NO WAY makes their return policy sound easy or quick. I built my computer stout enough that I never have to overclock. Compare what I built to the Pent.4 2.8 ghz single lane memory that I had prev. Stock, this was "mean" enough for me. AS FOLLOWS: Corsair 650 watt power supply, NZXT Apollo case, Biostar 790gx 128 M mobo, AMD 2.4 Ghz 8750 Toliman tripple core-black cpu(retail ver.). XFX 9500 GT, Pioneer 20x cd/dvd burner, 2 gigs of what should of been-an easy going G-sKILL DDR800 (at 1.94 volts), Western Digital 500 gig sata 2, 5 fans and an avg. cpu temp of 33C. All this hooked to a new 21 1/2 inch Acer High Def- monitor. (which replaced my 19" Acer bought at egg. All was bought at EGG - XFX. Wisdom Awaits? ?
Pros: 3 years and going strong -- ALL U IDE/PATA folks out there wouldnt believe (depnding on the rest of your computer innards), but for me switching from ide to sata 3 was as good as a cpu upgrade of 1/2 a ghz and it runs a lot cooler.
Cons: It would be nice if a program was available to loosen up the noise buffers a bit. Yes i know a bit noisier drive but worth the gain to some.
Overall Review: Did i say 3 years and going strong? I've probably doomed myself now - lol.
Pros: It's small, quiet, easy to use and has its own backup software built into the unit. Great little unit for those of us that don't need a lot of gig's for a backup.
Cons: Foot long USB cord has u down on the floor begging to find the usb port while still trying to keep the unit off the ground (desktops).
Overall Review: None. It does the job and thats all I could ask of it.
Pros: NO DEAD PIXIES. Clearer picture than my prev Acer 19" 2500:1 contrast ratio. Someone on here stated that the 20,000:1 acm was only equal to a 1000:1 contrast ratio, if so, then why is my picture so much cleaer and vibrant than my prev 2500:1 19" Acer?
Cons: The manual and its coordination w/the adjutment buttons could be less confusing. 1st time users best not try if subject to panic attacks. lol. It is bright! I have both brightness and contrast set at only 20% for evening viewing. Cool setting changes the screen to blueish instead of a shade darker
Overall Review: I paid $181 to egg for my prev. 19" Acer a year ago. I bump up to this much improved 21 1/2 inch for only $150 inc. shipping from the egg. Yes, i am smiling!
Pros: Nifty little adapter that allows U to connect your SATA cable to any IDE/PATA device. A real life saver if all of your drives/ect, are IDE and you've just installed a new Sata mobo w/only 1 ide connector on the board. I was able then to run my IDE player/burner on a mobo SATA connection and my IDE hard drive on the only mobo IDE slot. It saved me the cost and down time of waiting on a new SATA player/burner. This little unit helped save my day. Now all of my software is loaded and i await my new SATA burner. lol. NO LOST TIME! ta da!
Cons: REMEMBER this is SATA connector TO IDE drive ONLY! U can not connect it to a mobo IDE slot and then connect a SATA drive! SATA to IDE -- SATA to IDE ONLY! U plug it into your IDE unit and then U connect a SATA cable to the unit.
Overall Review: This unit did not allow my mobo to recognize my 8 Year old IDE CD player, but it did recognize my 8 year old IDE burner/player
Pros: Purchased from the egg, I have been more than surprised in program speed difference from my old IDE - to this SATA 3.0Gb hookup. Its comprable to adding 1/2 a gig or more to your cpu! Its quiet, stays cool and has done a great job for me so far.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: All of U IDE/PATA folks need to move up to SATA - U will be impressed!
Pros: This was what XFX sent me to replace my old burnt out GT 6600. (gotta love that xfx lifetime coverage!), Not much else to say, it is what it is. Good card for the price though
Cons: 256 bit memory would of be nicer but not avail in this series
Overall Review: XP3, Bio-Star 790-128M mobo, AMD 3 core 2.4 running at 2.9, 2 gig's of G-Skill DDR2 800, a Corsair 650 watt power supply, NZXT Apollo case and even though overclocked - avg. running temp is only 33C! - and only 52C using a 100% cpu load test for 1/2 hour!
Pros: Unit has preformed flawlessly, has ample hook ups, runs cool. This unit provides a really clean and stabil power flow
Cons: None, bought from egg, shipping was free and on time.
Overall Review: XP3, 2 gig G-Skill DDR2 800, AMD triple core 2.4 overclocked to 2.9, 8750 "Black" cpu, - Biostar 790-128M mobo and a XFX 9500 GT completes my system to date.
Pros: All in all this case would be rated a 4 or 5 as it is a good case that does what it says. I gave it a lower score due to a very dull and short User's Manual and an awful and rude customer service who talks and laugh's w/other employees while U are talking to him, then he has the nerve to say "Just Trust Me" - "dont worry what the manual says for the wiring color coding, just go by what the plug says it is" Yet the case is not a bad one, it does as advertised. Make sure to check for wiring pinches.
Cons: I have a great concern when a company has no 800#, totally disregards proper wiring, and lacks any concern whether or not the manual wiring info. matches the case wiring, nor shows any interest in changing this issue. Also wires were pinched between front panel and case. Simply PUT -POOR ATTENTION TO ELECTRICAL DETAIL which the company is aware of yet verbally had no concern whatsoever over the mis-matched color codes by saying- "JUST TRUST ME". What a joke their C/S is. Can U believe a company would make such a remark?
Overall Review: Buy a case w/a better company reputation and service. No PR following my statement will make me feel any better, yet i doubt enough they even care to respond, I mean there is nothing they can say to me now, they have lost me as a customer. - so Remember folks - JUST TRUST EM, but i never will again.
Pros: Works very well w/my amd x3 chip and bio-star 790-128M mobo. Crank the #'s down until it locks up, then back up a notch and U are good to go!
Cons: None. It is not the rec. memory for my setup yet it times out and works fine.
Overall Review: XP3, XFX 9500 GT, AMX x3 cpu, NZXT Apollo case and a Corsair 650 watt PS round out my "joe avg." system
Pros: For the price this is a nice "gets the job done" board. Very good bios adjustability for my AMD "black" 2.4 triple core. Overclocked to 2.9 it runs at a steady 33C and only achieved 52C at this setting on a 100% cpu load 1/2 hour test! Stock graphics and sound arent bad either for the price.
Cons: Plug-ins for the SATA are not pointing to a favorable position, yet if u had 10" fingers and x-ray vision the lower ones would be way more accessible. lol.
Overall Review: Windows XP3, Corsair 650 watt power supply, NZXT Apollo case, XFX 9500 GT and 2 gigs of G-skill DDR2-800 are all hooked to all the above.
Pros: I purchased the "Black" version of this chip from egg and I must say that I am more than happy w/the stabilized overclockability when combined w/my Biostar 790-128M mobo. Stock it is 2.4G. and I currently have it set at 2.9G (along w/addl. bios adjustments), and it holds steady at only 33C! A 100% cpu load 1/2 hour test, set at my current 2.9G it only runs at 52C! I am unable to unlock the 4th core, yet as smooth and cool as this triple runs at $87 and free shipping who needs it for now. lol.
Cons: Simply put - NONE.
Overall Review: Windows XP3, Bio-star 790-128M mobo (wonderfully adj. bios), 2 gigs of G-skill 800, XFX 9500GT, NZXT Apollo case along w/650 watt Corsair power supply.
