Pros: So, it came as bare bones and that it okay, don't need the bells and whistles.
Overall Review: I would recommend this product.
Pros: Plenty of room for everything I have to stuff into it.
Cable management is not an issue.
I have built many computers over the years and this was a very easy build.
Cons: So, how is the front fan supposed to draw in any air. The only mesh is that blue stripe. The front panel is solid with no way for the fan to draw in any amount of cooling air. There are mount points to put 2 more fans on top of the power supply box. Shame can't use them as they would interfere with cables that hook up to the motherboard. Once I finish the build, we shall see how well the heat factor is inside the case.
Overall Review: With the exception of internal cooling, I am very pleased with this case.
Pros: works as expected.
Cons: Wish they came with heat sinks.
Pros: For those of us still building custom towers with cases that still have USB 2 front panel ports, this is a must.
Cons: I think that the seller in China should not be listed for this item as it will take far too long to arrive. So, that is why they try to lure you in with that low price. Card came in paper envelope packed with foam. Had driver disk with no manual. The power cable was not included so basically this card is not usable.
Overall Review: Paying the extra money for this item is not a big deal since the item is in the US and gets delivered in a couple of days instead of over a month.
Cons: That is a nice pretty photo of the front panel showing 4-5.5" external drive bays. Actually only the middle 2 can be used. The top one is fake, for decoration purposes. The bottom one has no way to anchor a 5.5 " drive and the panel has a removable 3.5 " panel. And, inside there is a mount bracket for an external 3.5 drive. Even if you bend that out of the way (no way to remove it), You have nothing to mount a 5.5 " drive to. I need 3-5.5 " bays, not 2.
Overall Review: So, I have to amend my first review giving 4 stars and downgrade this to 2 stars. Being retired military, I have learned to adapt and overcome, but this case is literally a bad choice.
Pros: On my AMD board it was a really simple install.
Cons: On AMD based systems, you can only mount the cooler with the fan pointed toward the top of the case or toward the bottom. Not good when I have a 2 gb radeon 6970 vid card. I had to remove a top case fan in order to install, positioning the other way was not an option. Fan is quiet and running at @ 2000 rpm makes it much more quiet than the AMD fan running at @ 5500 rpm. But my cpu temps are still in the 50-60 deg c range. Will have to find another solution.
Pros: There is a lot of room for large video cards and there are mounting points for a variety of different case fans. Came with rails for the 3.5" internal drives and quick locks for the 5.25" external drives. The HDD activity light is very bright.
Cons: This case has spent a lot of time in the closet because of problems that I have had with 3 different motherboards. Any time I try to plug in a USB device into the front panel ports, there is a noticeable spark which crashes the computer. Can't find any bare wires to cause this short, but I keep trying. No luck. Just leave the front USB ports unplugged from the motherboard.
Pros: Awesome card and easy to install.
Pros: Like the slim profile design. Great picture.
Cons: Rear connectors stick straight out the back. Would be difficult to mount on a wall.
Pros: Follow the directions and you can't go wrong on installation, it is simple. The fan runs really quiet also and the cpu temperature has been good. However......
Cons: With the heatsink/fan installed the way the directions call for the fan overlaps the memory slots on my motherboard. Using a Gigabyte GA-P55-USB3 motherboard with an intel i7 875K cpu. I have 8gb (4x2) of Patriot Sector 5 PC3-10666 ram installed in slots 1 & 3. The fan guard is up against the memory heatsink in slot 1, slot 2 is covered & unusable. So far though there isn't any problem. But, if I want to use the other memory slots, I would have to turn the heatsink/fan around the wrong way. Don't know what the difference would be.
Overall Review: I really like this fan/heatsink combo and like the way it is running so far. If it wasn't for the fit issue, I would rate it a 5. I don't see myself upgrading my memory in the near future though.
