Overall Review: I’ve had the monitor for just about a year and I don’t think I could be more satisfied with a monitor. The wallet took a bit of a beating but it was worth it
Pros:
-The clearest, sharpest picture I've ever seen on a monitor
-Very reasonably priced for what it is
-Doom never looked so good in 2K
-Freesync on this monitor works surprisingly well with a G-sync graphics card
Cons: -I wish this monitor had a G-sync version (though if AMD's NAVI architecture matures as expected, this monitor won't need a G-sync version)
Overall Review: I'm not at all surprised that Samsung delivered such a high quality display. I've been using a Samsung plasma TV for the past decade and it still works well! Freesync seems to work quite well with an Nvidia graphics card. Thus far, playing Doom on ultra settings in 2560x1440 is very smooth and the picture is so sharp, you'd swear you're the one in the praetor suit. Love this monitor!
Pros:

- Lighting zones cause some bloom
- HDR causes soft images in non-HDR apps
- Older cards can have a hard time feeding this monitor (rx 590 Crossfire)

Overall Review: I have had this monitor now for a week and I must say I am very impressed with it. This monitor has excellent colors that really pop even in the sRGB color space. The HDR is fairly impressive achieving a 600 nit peak brightness. I'm also a huge fan of the variable refresh rate (freesync) support because everything is so smooth with no frame tearing. Currently, running a Power Color 5700 XT and the card compliments this screen wonderfully. I would purchase this again.

Cons: I have had this monitor for almost a month and it seems that everyday I have to mess with the settings. The colors are washed out in HDR, and you will not get the advertised specs with this unit. You have to sacrifice one spec to get another. If you want to use freesync then you don’t get 144 hz refresh rate. If you want 144hz then you can’t get the 10 bit color. HDR looks terrible, greyish washed out colors, and it might be crazy, but anytime i feel i finally got the settings right, then after turning the pc back on the colors look weird again. Windows recognizes the 144 hz only when freesync is off. The monitor settings always has 144hz as on. It’s just a complicated issue with the software, colors, hdr, freesync, refresh rate and settings. I wanted a monitor to game and work that looks good and without so much complication. Maybe Samsung needs to come out with new firmware to address these issues, but if they don’t then this monitor is going to be a work in progress with “potential”. I am looking at returning this monitor and try out a 34 inch curved wide screen.

Pros: Amazing view, great colors, fast response time. Truly best monitor I have used.
Cons: Early on (A month after owning the computer) every so often, when i turn the monitor on, it turns on to black screen, or a screen filled with black lines. I had contacted samsung help about it and get no follow up. After turning the monitor off (between 1-20ish time) it will return to normal, and is good until off again.
Overall Review: Great monitor, would truly be 5egg without the issue
