Is 3.0 better than 2.0?  Will it work on an older computer?

If you have an older PC running USB 2.0 you can expect speeds from this drive to be 33MB/s read/ 28 MB/s write.  If you have an add-in card for USB 3.0, you can expect speeds of 269 MB/s read and 185 MB/s write.

Drive is very nicely made although a little thick.  However, it does not interfer with other USB ports.  Works very well on USB 3.0.

Can this flash drive be formatted NTFS?

exFAT and NTFS is available to format it using Win 7 Pro 64 bit.

is this mac compatible?

On the package, it says Windows, Linux and the following MAC.
MAC OS X V. 10.6.x+

This thing is really fast when used in USB 3.0.  The fastest I saw was around 190MB/sec and the slowest was around 70MB/sec.
Enjoy, this thing is really worth the money.

Does this flash drive work on a Xbox 360?

The HyperX is USB3 and is backwards compatible, so *should* work well with Xbox.  However Xbox 360 is only USB2 and is slower...  unless you need this HyperX drive for some other reason, like transfers to a machine that has a digital hard drive or is super fast, this is way more than you need.  There are lots of high performance reliable USB2 drives out there for way less money.  And if you are considering a different Xbox, Xbox One -does- have USB3.

Any one use this USB 3.0 Kingston to copy a movie from a HHD or Storage device, and play it back on a DVD with a USB plug? .avi

I have used it on a dvdplayer  wirh a hd in the player. But mine uses DivX format files and it was slow to load the file because the usb plug in the player was 2.0. Also the larger the file size the longer the load time.
