Where is the service tag and windows key located on the machine?

There is a long white, oval shaped sticker on the bottom of the laptop next to the battery... This will have the service tag info. The service tag consists of 7 letters and numbers. If the sticker is not there....Start the computer, hit the F2 key to start bios setup during Dell logo... The service tag will be displayed on the first screen. Microsoft no longer requires product key codes to be placed on the units... They are not required with OEM installations, as it is incorporated in the software installed on the unit. The OEM product ID can be found by right clicking on the This PC icon on the desktop and selecting properties...Should be near the bottom of the window. You can get to the desktop by moving the cursor to the top left corner of the start screen and clicking... Hope this helps...
