Pros: Inexpensive for what you get, has displayport. Great warranty.
Cons: The proprietary power supply. Dell's at it again.
Overall Review: To the reviewer complaining it only has VGA. That's not true. There's Displayport as well, which, with an inexpensive adapter will get you HDMI.
Pros: The computer was delivered quickly and was well packaged. Set up was easy. Item was as described. Price was very reasonable. This computer is meant for business use and has a better warranty than the ones designed for home use. It has a 3-year warranty from Dell, and on-site repair if over-the-phone does not do the trick.
The computer came with Window 7 Professional installed, and a disk for Windows 8. It runs all but one of my old XP programs. It is faster than my old computer and has not had any hang ups. So far so good!
Pros: Good performance until you need to get it fixed quick
Cons: There is a proprietary power supply and proprietary power connector on system board. You cant just go to any store to purchase a power supply and install it. This is true for all Optiplex 3020.
Overall Review: Wish I knew this before telling a client to purchase this exact model from newegg. There wasn't a review that listed this issue at time of purchase.
Pros: It is a decent computer for everyday business use. Decent speed, good for multi-tasking. Don't expect a high end machine and you won't be disappointed. This is a workhorse, not a racehorse.
Cons: In this day and age, I am completely baffled to see any machine being sold without an SD card slot. Honestly? This would have been a deal-breaker for me if I had known before purchase. It is unbelievable to me that I have to have a peripheral just to transfer product photos from my camera to the computer. This should be a non-issue in 2014. Crazy.
Also, I would like to see a high speed USB port on the front of the machine, though I have had nothing but trouble from the ones on this machine anyway. For some reason my 3.0 ports don't function as high speed. I plug in an external hard drive for backup and get a message that the device could perform better.
Pros: Bought for office use, very snappy with the 4570. Has the potential to be a gaming PC with a PSU change and GPU, especially with that CPU it comes with.
Cons: Had to buy a GT210 for dual monitor support.
Pros: Good working system
Cons: HD graphics but the only video port is vga.
Why doesn't it have an HDMI port ?
