Overall Review: This is a good board for those looking for some bells and whistles and not spending a ton of ca$h. This board assembled fine and has been running great. There are plenty of USB2 ports and connectors. Includes SATA II(4), IDE(2), 1394a(one port/one connector), spdif ports, and Gigabit LAN. Chipset is active cooled. Fan makes typical chipset fan noise. Not loud. If you connect the case front audio to the block on board you lose rear audio support. You will hear a varying of right or left channel audio doing so. Jumper locations on the block should be noted for placement later if you decide to stick with rear audio. Those jumpers are necessary to disable the front audio. I also disliked the location of both the audio and 1394 blocks on board. They are at the rear of the board between the rear audio connectors and the PCI-e slots. Bad location because of cable channeling. should have been at the bottom below PCI slots. All in all a good quality board for a budget build.

Pros: DFI recomend on several web sites

Cons: Board was defective, returned it for an Asus.

Overall Review: Should have paid more attection to the other reviews on this board, would have bought something else at first.

Pros: DFI always provides top quality products. This board is no exception. Quick, easy setup. Maximized performance for those not wanting SLI. Been running DFI's for 9 years and never had an RMA.

Cons: Would like to have one more Sys Fan connector on the right side of the board.

Pros: My first DFI build. Running an Opteron 165 @2.71 ghz. 2 gig of ram @500 mhz 3 5 5 10 for now until system burns in for a week and then going for 3ghz cpu and a little tighter timings on the ram. Also running a 7900GT @500/1500.

Cons: Not the easiest system to get to stabilize.

Overall Review: You definitely want to flash to the newest Bios. Had to manually clear the cmos after I did before the system would boot again. Would definitely recommend this board...

Cons: I was unable to even install an OS or post consistently. With this system: - AMD Athlon 64 3200+ - 2 GB RAM - nVidia 7600 GT KO PCIe video card, most of the time the system would post, but with no video output. After a couple of reboots, the video would usually come back, but I would invariably crash during the OS install. I tested the processor, video card, optical drive, hard drives, and RAM with a separate motherboard, and they work well enough. RMA'd once, and had EXACTLY the same problems with a new one, so I'm returning it for good and avoiding DFI henceforth.
