Highly overrated and overhyped product.

Pros: Good suction, light weight, easy to maneuver, smaller beater bar is great for vacuuming your car carpets.

Cons: The Dyson V6 animal is in my opinion an overpriced, overrated, overhyped vacuum. It’s little more than an expensive toy, cheaply made, and poorly engineered. The plastic construction reeks of cheap. I don’t have a problem with plastic per say but this is cheap plastic. I don’t know what genius engineer decided that it was a great idea to make us have to continue to pull the trigger to make the vacuum operational instead of an off and on option. Kudos. This vacuum failed my Cheerios and Corn Flakes pickup test. It picked up some and just spread the rest around. Not very impressive for such an expensive vacuum. We also own a Shark Ninja Flex Duo Clean battery powered vacuum that excels with hard floor pickup. Better in every way than the Dyson.Better cleaning performance, better build quality, better engineered, 2 removable batteries, LED headlights, carpet and hard floor settings, and you don’t have to continually pull a trigger to make it work..

Overall Review: Update to original review. I have to say that since my original, not so glowing review , I have grown to really like this vacuum. It’s very light weight , has great suction, and is very convenient to use. The smaller beater bar is great for car carpets. Gets them really clean. So overall I must say that I am very happy with my purchase and the product.
