The sequel to the immensely popular Battlefield series, Battlefield 2142 is a sci-fi themed first-person shooter that borrows from the best of Battlefield, but benefits from streamlining to focus on the series’ strongest points. Battlefield fans, did this sound familiar: select a machine gunner, to only find your enemies at long range and you in the crosshairs of a sniper rifle? In Battlefield 2142, the number of available soldiers is reduced, and each specialist is better equipped, leading to more balanced play and less regret on which soldier you choose.

What’s more, there’s 150 years of weapons technology to dig into. That means cloaking devices, sentry guns, hover tanks, massive battle Mechs and much, much more to master. In addition to the classic conquest format (aka capture the flag), the new Titan mode introduces massive, heavily armored, flying warships for each team to defend while targeting the enemy’s. With up to 64 players duking it out simultaneously, each battle is a unique, action-packed joy ride!
