Will this mount to a wall?

The antenna's do swivel to stick straight out the back and I am using it vertically with no problems.
However the router does not have mounting holes on the bottom to attach to a wall or mount, you would have to build a bracket or box to mount it to a wall.

Is this compatible with Comcast Xfinity internet?

It's not a modem, but should work with one. I've been using it with a verizon hot spot with ease and great coverage in the house. I have recently switched to an at&t wireless hotspot and it was another seamless install...

I followed the instructions, plugged in the adapter, screwed on the respective antennas with the 5mb on in the middle put the internet switch to "on" yet all the lights keep flashing and I'm unable to access http://edimax.setup to finish the setup. I am very frustrated with this what am I doing wrong? I have even tried plugging in and ethernet cable in the router to the edimax extender and i am still not able to access the setup

You cannot get to the router setup via that link that's your problem you need to find the actual numbered URL located on bottom of router type that into the search bar with router connected that should get you entrance into its setup good luck

What is the purpose of an AC wireless router if the WAN/LAN ports are all 10/100?

Probably not if you are using a wifi router and only using the RJ-45 plugs  for access ;)
On the wifi side it did show 400sMBps when it was connected to my laptop.
I only bought it as a backup for $29 on sale. I used it for an extender until I upgraded to Nighthawk 1900.
So far it's collecting dust.

Can it run OpenWRT or DD-WRT?

I was never able to find a compatible -WRT firmware for it, and I definitely looked.  I wouldn't buy this with any expectation of running an alternate OS.

is it IPv6 compatible ?

I have used this as an access point and a range extender in different installations, neither of which have utilized IPv6.  It did not offer any options during setup to offer IPv6, but that would only be an option if using this as a DHCP server.  As a basic AP or range extender, it would not matter if IPv4 or IPv6 though.
