Pros: While the stats on this power supply are impressive you should wait to buy.

Cons: Power supply was built missing the main CPU 8 pin cable. The manufactor admitted the error to me on the phone and said I could return the unit and wait until late February to get the new models being built to replace the bad first batch.

Overall Review: I actually bought this unit early January and did not want to wait almost two months for them to send me a new one. One note is that the unit does come with a 4+4 auxillary CPU cable that others seem to be using in place of the proper cable. However I know of at least one reveiw of a person who fried his motherboard using the 4+4 connector. Enermax will not replace your motherboard if you fry it using the auxillary cable and good luck getting your motherboard company to replace the board when you used an improper power cable.

Pros: Awesome power output. Love the modular cables and cable length. Comes with plenty of cables. Quiet.

Cons: A little big. Might not work in most mid tower cases and probably some full tower server cases. I had to remove one of the support brackets in my Lian Li V2100. No real problem though since that's what the case was designed for.

Overall Review: This is the 3rd try with this Power Supply. First one got sent back to Newegg for RMA. It wasn't working right with my Asus Crosshair and AMD FX 62 Dual Core. Sometimes it would power up, but most of the time the safety feature kept kicking it out. Second one - same problem. (Thanks to Newegg though for replacing the first one.) This time I got a hold of Enermax. Their Tech Support was very friendly and knew about the issue with Dual Cores. I sent it back to them and they sent me version 2. No more problems.

Pros: Very high build quality, nice sleeving on the cables, nice connectors, and tons of extra cables and such. Oh yeah, and it's probably got enough power to run a third world country.

Cons: It's sort of large and heavy, so it might not be ideal for a small computer or a LAN box.

Overall Review: If you have the space, and don't mind the weight, you can't go wrong with this one, especially if you're running a Quad SLI setup.

Pros: Bought this to replace previous PSU, which failed trying to do an arc-welder imitation. Installed it with little trouble, but would not work with S939 Athlon FX-60, but would with Athlon 64 4000+. RMA'd PSU with Manufacturer to get version that corrects this problem. Fans are quiet, Onboard diagnostics a plus, though the beep is annoying. :)

Cons: It's BIG. About the size of two bricks, side by side. Weighs about as much. Not for small cases. Barely fit in an Antec Sonata II case.

Overall Review: While this PSU puts out all the power you could ever want (or need), I wouldn't install it in anything smaller than a full tower case. Larger mid towers will require careful routing and harnessing of cables.

Pros: Has worked beautifully for me since I first plugged it in...powers my entire system without even blinking an eye. It is also EXTREMELY quiet...cannot be heard over the rest of my components, which cannot be said of the PC Power & Cooling power supplies. Has ample modular connections...more than almost anyone could ever use.

Cons: None I can think of...maybe it's long, but most educated consumers/case manufacturers are aware of this by now and are making adjustments.

Pros: 1000 watts of pure quad rail power. Very quiet with dual 120mm and 80mm fan. I am using a socket 939 mobo with dual core, dual hard drives, dual optical drives, dual 7800 gtx gpu, you won't have to use any of the modular cables as everything you need is included with the hardwired power cables. Lot's of room for expansion. If psu is above a certain temp when you shut down your computer its fans will stay on for a couple of minutes to evacuate the hot air within your case. LED indicator on the back of the psu with alarm tone to inform you on the status of the unit. Very sleek looking power supply.

Cons: Length of unit, 9 inches long. I have a full size thermaltake armor and I had to remove the top usb header along with bending back the brackets that the header attaches to get the psu to fit. The unit is heavy at 10lbs.

Overall Review: I do believe that this power supply overloaded my APC UPS. It was only rated for 600 watts at 1000va but I thought I give it a shot. I sinced purchased a cyberpower 1500AVR rated for 900 watts at 1500va. No problems at all. This unit has an LCD read out that shows how many watts is being used. I thought that there would be an immense draw on power everytime I would turn on my computer using the Galaxy. But to my delight, It starts out at 180 watts before idleing at 207 watts. Maximum draw of my computer at full load is 247 watts.

Pros: Modular cables, make any combination your heart desires, such as loads of SATA or other drives or 4 PCI-E video cards. Really quiet because of a huge intake fan.

Cons: Big, really big. About twice the length of a standard PSU. Check if your tower will handle this thing. Sucks up a lot of juice on powerup, lights dim and everything. Might overload UPS/breakers.

Cons: This power supply blew out my mobo. I had an asus an8 sli-deluexe. I put this in my rig, and my mobo no longer works.

Overall Review: The manuel is a joke. It provides no help. Tech support was unreachable. Ordered a new mobo and will see how it goes.
