QOS TECHNOLOGYIntelligent Quality of Service (Qos) Technology facilitates bandwidth priority for VoIP, video streaming, online gaming.
Pros: supplied installed firmware was adequate range is good throughout most of my home Stable on DD WRT, this works well on DD WRT
Cons: overpriced for what it offers. Works OK, for as long as it lasts. tech support has been very very slow to respond (my experience) this device needs more than 1 year warranty support (my experience) I owned two, one failed at 10 months, one failed at 18 months. I won't buy another in this brand. Unless it is on sale, and uses Broadcom.
Overall Review: You have to chuckle at the gravitas of only1miller. He has super duper high technology level, and says others claim that too much. My tech savvy is only average. But I can understand chipset requirements. Tomato supports only Broadcom, not Ralink wifi chipsets; this Engenius model has Ralink. If you hadn't mentioned Tomato, you would still be SuperDuper High Tech in my eyes.
