I have an Air Desk which has a 1" thick pole.  Would I be able to take this arm and put it on my pole?

The pole that comes with the unit is 1 3/8"  (1.375") , so you will not be able to use this arm with a 1" pole.

Can this be used as a wall mount also?

Accepted Answer

No, not without custom modifications that you make yourself.  It comes with all the parts necessary for sturdy desk mounting and with 3 options (2, 1, or 0 extension arms with the rotatable VESA mount being the final connection between monitor and arm or vertical base).

For desk mounting I highly recommend it!  It is very well made, easy to install, has very flexible positioning, and I haven't found a better value anywhere.

Question 3

Is it possible to add an arm to an existing base with an arm already attached?

Yes, it appears so; if you have two sets, the retaining ring of the second set can be removed (via the set screw) and inserted onto the first pole high enough that it doesn't conflict with the first arm, then the second arm can be slid on top.

Because the arms themselves are not height-adjustable (the height is a factor of where the retaining ring is set on the pole and the number of arm segments in the arm itself), the effect would be that the second monitor would be higher than the first, unless perhaps, if the second arm had fewer arm segments installed.

Question 4

Will this hold a Samsung 32" 4000 Series - HD LED TV - 720p (UN32J4001AFXZA)  by chance?

I don't know for sure, but I think it would work just fine.  It holds the 24" monitor like it was nothing.  As adjustable as it is, I think a 32" would do just fine.
