Has anyone ever taken this apart? i cant seem to find what the circuit board for this card looks like anywhere

As long as your motherboard having PCIe x16 associate with 9-pin and or 6-pin power supply then you're OK.  beside the own power from PCIe x16 you need power from power supply to this graphic card.  My PC is HP Z840 work perfect with this graphic card.
