Does this works with ASUS Rog Strix z-690 G Wi-Fi Motherboard, because I checked on their list and it was not there. The 700GQ and the 850GQ where but these one was not.

Yes, it will work just fine. It has 2 EPS12V Cpu Power Connectors, of which you only really need 1 unless you are overclocking the CPU. It also has a standard 24 pin motherboard connector. Any power supply should work for that matter. Depending on what CPU and Graphics card you are planning to use will determine what wattage output you require.

Yes but this is not recommended. Doing so will put stress on the port being used. I would suggest purchasing an extra molex cable  to add to the system in place of a sata power cable.

Hi,

I'm not trying to be smart but the name clearly says 'ATX12V'. So, no, it will not work in your case. However, just for giggles, you can indeed sit it in the bottom of your case if you want, unmounted, and it will work just fine. But if you want to mount it properly in the case, it won't fit right.
