Question 1

Will a 625 watt power supply be ok? I have a intel i7 3820 water cooled, 1tb storage, and 12gb of ram.

I may not be the best person to ask this. But I will tell you what happened to me when I got this card. I have the exact same setup as you minus the water cooling and a 700w power supply instead. Unfortunately I had to return this card 2 times. I gave up on it at that point and then took a store credit option. I orginally thought I did not have enough power on the first card. So I bought a new Thermaltake 1200w power supply. Both cards died on me. Keep in mind at the time Nvidia was not up to date on their drivers. But this was a case of hardware malfunction becauss I lost video output from the both cards   (DVI AND HDMI). I may have been unlucky, but I am steering away from those puppies. I would recommend upgrading the PSU when you can and looking at the GTX780TI. I will eventually upgrade to that card, but I am skeptical about my rig. I may have other issues at hand. Good luck in your decision.

i want my pc to last and im worried about the whole "sujperclocked" thing how does this affect the life? will i get my moneys worth in performance and life with this card?

You will, the super-cloak is just a boost when the card is being pushed with load, the fans have a double ball bearing which interns allows the GPU to have a longer cooling lifespan. That's one reason why I bought these video cards, thanks ACX!

Does this come with SLI cable or do I need to fish one out?

Good question I had to look, but unfortunately no.  You'll have to go fishing.

I was a little stumped to, stickers, poster, two games, DVI adaptor, but no SLI adaptor.

A) Appears that it is compatible, but any thoughts as to being paired with a p6x58d premium Mobo?

B) Is this card's EVGA logo lit by LEDs as is the 03G-P4-2783-KR?

No the LED doesnt light up, and it should be fine with the MB

I am running the ASUS Z87 Pro mother board it will support NVIDIA Quad GPU SLI with 2 PCIe X 16 graphic cards.  I am not running in SLI mode since I am only using one GeForce 780, along with Intel i7-4770 CPU in my system.  I am more than satisfied with the mother board and graphic card performance

Ok so I am considering getting either this card or :
EVGA 04G-P4-2768-KR GeForce GTX 760 4GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 SLI Support SC 4GB w/ EVGA ACX Cooler Video Card :

I see the obvious differences but what would be the better choice?
My concern is that the boost clock and the core clock are slightly faster on the 760 and you also have 1gb more of GPU memory. any input would be greatly appreciated.

Disregarding price, the GTX 780 would absolutely be better than the 760. The clock speeds are only one part of performance, and comparing clocks on different models is apples and oranges. Hypothetically, having more memory would help with large resolutions (like 5760x1080), but the 780 would blow the 760 out of the water anyway when it comes to actual performance.

If you are factoring price into the equation, the 760 would probably give you better bang for your buck, but that's up to you to decide what your budget is.

what would be more effective for 1440p gaming? Two GTX 770 4GB or this card?

Technically two 770 4GB cards will out perform a single 780. And the extra gig of RAM may help at higher resolutions like you are trying to run depending on the game. However, I much prefer running a single card. Everything runs super smooth and I don't have to worry about micro-stutter or if nVidia has updated their SLI profiles for the games I want to play. Buying a single 780 will also give you an upgrade path, as you could SLI it later.

Does this GPU still come with the 3 free games ?

I ordered it last week and got the games without any issues. Black flag and splinter cell are on uplay.  Batman is on steam.  Very easy to get them. Also awesome card stays very cool .

Google "Thermaltake Power Supply Calculator"  Sorry Newegg but the Thermaltake calculator contains up to date component list such as the latest CPU and GPU card which Newegg does not have.

For me I go for the safe side and get the 1000W (EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 P2 80 PLUS PLATINUM).  Somebody will say that's an overkill, but just in case in the future I want to do Tri-SLI or Quad-SLI mode... "if the Price Is Right."

I have a CoolerMaster HAF 922 Gaming Case - Black

Will this fit? I currently have a gtx 660 ti

I have a Cooler Master Storm Trooper case. It fits just fine. I don't see why it wouldn't fit in yours. Compare the dimensions of the two cases but I think you will be OK.
