Pros: Out performs the 6800GS in every benchmark in every review I've read, even at higher resoultions with high/levels of AA/AF. If you're in need of an upgrade and don't wanna spend over $xxx this is the best choice since its using newer, more efficient architecture than the Geforce 6800 series, and offers much better DVD/hdtv playback.

Cons: Fan gets kinda loud when games start to play but its easily drowned out by my speakers.

Overall Review: Regarding the person who wrote the review titled: "Still doesn't beat the 6800GS" First, this is not a message board. This is for people who actually own the product unlike yourself. Second, don't use this customer review system to write false imformation which you have done. And third, why are you calling people who bought this card fanboys?

Pros: Can do H.264 decoding on the chip, to help take stress off your CPU. Amazing graphics at a budget price. Dual DVI outputs. This card is aimed at replacing the 6600GT, but it does a good job at beating the 6800GS as well. Price is excellent!!

Cons: Only 128-bit memory interface. Ridiculous Power Supply requirements are listed here.

Overall Review: I guarantee that you could drive this thing with the right 300 Watt power supply. What bothers me is these recommendations on what PSU Wattage you should have. How would they know what other components you have in your system? Since this card doesn't require an additional power connector, the most it could possibly require on max load is 75 Watts on the PCIe 16x connection. Bottom line is this... remember that Wattage is important, but not as important as the Amperes on the +12V rail. Make sure that your PSU has at least 22 Amps on the +12V rail and you should be fine with a 300W PSU.

Pros: The 7600GT is not the new "high end", but for us mere mortals that have to work for a living, it's a great value and more than adequate. I love it! Plays games very well, Nvidia software and drivers are very stable. The card is a 1-slot PCI-e design, although the fan's a bit noisy (see below)

Cons: The cooling fan is noisy. I wanted to build a quiet PC, and the VGA fan was the loudest component - even on its "slow" setting (not manually configurable.) -- I replaced the fan with a Zalman VGA cooler- while being heavy (tons of copper), it cools very well, and is VERY quiet if you plug it into the 5V (slow speed)connector. The cooling is adequate too, because the 7600 runs a lot cooler than the older 6800 chips. The eVGA website is not great and the latest eVGA website drivers didn't work. I went right to the NVidia website and downloaded the generic GeForce drivers, and they work great with more control over the settings than eVGA had!

Overall Review: Even though there are 2 DVI monitor outputs, if you don't have a digital monitor it is OK- the box comes with an adapter that works with older analog flatpanels or even CRT's.

Pros: Runs Oblivion GREAT! Running at 1280x1024 with 4xAA, Bloom, and full shadows with no hesitation. Works great on a 300w PS!

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: For this price this absolutely rocks, plus Nvidia is releasing drivers specifically for Oblivion. I wanted a card that was (a) inexpensive, (b) powerfull, and (c) lower power consumption. Its quietish, but not noticable, and the graphics are the best ive ever had. I have not tried to overclock, but really dont see a need to.

Overall Review: Setup is a: a8n32 x2 3800 Started with a MSI 6600gt got 3606 at 3dmark 2005, changed out to a evga 7600gt and for 6296, added another 7600gt for sli and it went up to 10447. Played through rainbow 6 lockdown at 1600X1024 and everything pretty much cranked and it was fine. BF2 1280 everything cranked and it was smooth as silk. No regrets here!!!!

Pros: Good company backing the card, high performance for the price

Cons: The cooling fan is very loud before Windows boots and while in the BIOS, memtest, DOS, Linux, etc. and also when 3D kicks in (even a screensaver). Once Windows boots and before 3D, the card is fairly quiet. Not suitable for very low noise of HTPC systems.

Overall Review: I bought a passive card to get rid of the noise.

Pros: It plays f.e.a.r., hl lost coast, and need for speed most wanted like butter. I recently replaced my 6800 gt..and i see some serious improvements.. especially with f.e.a.r. i used to get framerate dips as low as 13! now i never drop below 26 fps. (at 1280 x 960, 2aa, 16 af, everything else at maximum, but with soft shadows off). i'm very impressed!!! and i love how compact it is. and when i get sick of it..i'll have evga's step up program to help me get the 7900 gt or gtx. overall..great!!!

Overall Review: i'm still amazed how powerful this little beast is!!

Pros: The 7600 is priced as a mid-range card but performs more than adequately for both games and everyday use. The card runs cool, and the auto-activated fan on it make management easy. I run Half-Life 2 without problems, as well as Black and White 2 without problems. The card does not require an extra power connect, either, which is good for users who don't have the extra juice or connector.

Cons: I wish it had either a 256-bit memory interface, or more pipelines. Either would have been fine, but even without them, I'd recommend the card.
