Pros: This is an extremely versatile and considerably cheap graphic's card, with 512 on-board ram it does pack quite a punch.

Cons: Good luck dealing with the company if you expect a rebate, consider it a good buy and ignore the rebate because i've talked to over 20 people who submitted rebates to this company and nobody has gotten money back... (helllloooo scam city....)

Pros: Great Card, excellent frame rates, good for moderate gameplay. Replaced my Geforce 6400 with this card and am much happier. Fan is noticeably quieter

Cons: Download newest drivers from EVGA's website. Using the drivers enclosed on CD, my PC scored a 1.0 on the Vista WEI. After updating drivers from the website, WEI is now 4.4. (Graphics are at 5.9; my CPU is now the lowest performing element of my system)

Pros: I replaced my older Radeon video card with this 9400 GT on my Linux (Ubuntu Hardy Heron), and it worked flawlessly from the moment I rebooted. Something that was never the case with the Radeon.

Cons: I would not consider this a gaming card; but I didn't install it on a gaming system, either. I doubt I'll ever need the 3D capabilities.

Overall Review: The problem with the Radeon was the drivers; they simply do not quite work with Linux. The free drivers that come with Linux (I speak from experience with this same problem on Suse and Ubuntu) do not correctly recognize the card, or are incapable of driving it at the correct resolution. I wound up with a distorted, low res image. When I installed the Radeon driver that is available for Linux, it worked. However, other things stopped working: the system would freeze up for about 10 seconds every few minutes. This was especially a bummer because I use this box to play music. As I said, this happened on both Suse and Ubuntu. My advice if you have a Radeon card in in your Linux system and are experiencing periodic freezes, get rid of the Radeon drivers and put up with the bad video for a while. If the freezes stop, it's the Radeon drivers, so get an Nvidia card.

Pros: -Good price -Great Geforce specs -Plenty of RAM -Runs cool -Easy to install -EVGA sticker increased my clock speed.

Cons: -Isn't latest Geforce -Still can't push some very recent titles. -An NVidia sticker would make more sense.

Overall Review: I can play Fable and UT2004 at all maxed settings - 1600x1200, all filters and max texture resolution. GTA4 is still unplayable. Lowest settings result in an ugly visual that slows to 20 fps when you get in a car.

Pros: Ummm... Came quickly.

Cons: I plugged the card in and the machine would spontaneously shut down. Eventually I left the cover off and turned the machine on; sparks flew out of the card and the machine shut down. I guess I'm lucky it didn't fry the mobo. In the meantime, I sent the rebate in; now Newegg won't honor the RMA because I snipped the UPC code out. And, of course, I haven't seen or heard anything about the rebate. So far I'm out of $73 including return shipping to Newegg, will be out another $8 in shipping to whereever, and no card and no rebate.

Overall Review: To be fair to Newegg, their terms state that snipping the UPC code will make the item ineligible for return; but *replacement of a product that nearly set my machine on fire?* Come ON! So altogether I'll be out over $80 and maybe 2 months for this run-of-the-mill video card.

Pros: Put this into an older eMachine that had onboard video. Easy install, works fine and does what it is supposed to do. Relatively quiet. A solid entry-level card for a reasonable price.

Cons: None. This card fully met and/or exceeded my modest expectations. No comment on the provided install disk as I never use them (see "Other Thoughts").

Overall Review: As usual, I tossed the install disk and downloaded and installed the drivers from Nvidia's online support.

Pros: this card it crazy fast it plays just about anything but some of the brand new games you have to set to lower settings but like WOW u can max that out np same with BF2

Cons: just that it took to dam long to ship

Overall Review: this was a sweet upgrade i was useing a gefoure 5200 fx do i could hardly play bf2 and wow was ok but after wotlk the new towns i lagged but plus did not help i had a amd 5200 single core cpu

Pros: Bought it for an HTPC. Didn't use it for that long because I preferred the HDMI out on the motherboard with intel graphics.

Cons: Not that powerful but it is small and produces little heat
