EVGA 01G-P3-N988-TR GeForce 9800 GT HDMI 1GB 256-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: I have bought a lot of EVGA cards and have great results from them. This card is no exception. Runs Crysis with no issues, bobbles, or warbles. This card is great because it is 9" not full sized double slot (width wise) video card. I have full size case BUT Internal HDD bays right where ATX video card slot is so full size double wide video card 9+" long will not work. This card does easily...it's open design in my mind is a plus. The 9800's cards have been around for a while but this model will take on any new cards that are out there and from a price/performance/value relationship come out the winner hands down...

Cons: None...I don't expect there will be.

Pros: 1. When i bought this exact same card from a cheap manufacturer back when this was considered new, it was 120 big ones. 2. The fan is way neater looking than the picture, i know that has nothing do with performance but seriously, the card looks nothing like the picture. 3. This card can run nearly any game older or newer on at LEAST medium settings, if not high. 4. Supports Hybrid SLI with my Mobos integrated 780a SLI chipset

Cons: 1. None immediately apparent, my graphics are what they should have been all this time ive been using my lousy 10 dollar card. 2. The last one i had just died one day, methinks the GPU separated from its mount. Hopefully this one does not do that, GPU-Z says its staying cool

Pros: Fan is nice and Silent and plays all my games Med / High Settings plays WoW Maxed Out!! with a old Pent D Dual Core ..

Cons: I can Find the drivers for the HDMI went to EVGA and installed those but nothing.. then went to Nvidia and Nothing happed when i installed those..

Overall Review: I really like this card mite get another if i can just figure out the HDMI with Sound i will be happy

Pros: - Price : performance ratio - 1 GB GDDR3 RAM - Stock cooling doesn't suck - Low temps (around 55 C under load?) inside my case (1 fan installed) - Strong driver support from NVIDIA - Plays all my games at max (new titles too) at high resolutions

Overall Review: Upgraded from an ATI Radeon 4350 512 MB... this card blows it away. Originally I was going to buy a ATI Radeon 5770, but I realized that I could save myself a lot of money by buying this card for $84 after rebates and get the performance that i desired. If you're on a budget and want to game, this is your card. Don't look any further.

Pros: cheap, effective replacement card for my older PC. Easy setup ! 256 bit relevant game card for under 60 bucks!Card is still a great bargain given the age/new egg rocks again

Pros: Good support for linux specifically ubuntu. Really was plug and play. Power connectors/adapters included. Vga to Dvi adapter included.

Cons: Takes two slots so beware that your chassis has the room to support clearance to the right of the selected port. Mine just fits due to large capacitor to the right barely clearing fan shroud. No linux drivers on disk.

Pros: A great option for the budget games. Nvidia really did a great bit of work with the G92 processors and the 9800GT is a shining example. Replaced my 8800GTS 640 SC after 4.5 years of loyal service and was a nice step up in performance without breaking the bank. My 9800GT had to go back to EVGA (under warranty) for the HDMI port not functioning (vga and dvi were fine). This card was a workhorse.Easy to install, small and a single 6-pin pci-e power connector. Will not max Skyrim or other newer titles, but that should not be expected.For the games that came out in it's time and even for a fair length after, the EVGA 9800GT 1GB is an EXCELLENT choice. I also had a Zotac 9800GT 512mb. Hot garbage. Quickly swapped it for the EVGA and never looked back. EVGA's support team and RMA service are amazing.Helping technicians who really seem to make delivery of service a priority.

Overall Review: A great investment for the budget gamer. I experienced no noise issues at any time and was sad to see it go. For the price listed today ($60), I would not hesitate to buy another if I did not have the warranty and already have another on the way. Great GPU for my entertainment/emulator box which recently received an AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black upgrade.

Pros: Been in constant use since 2012. Inexpensive. High quality.

Cons: Only 1 GB of memory.

Overall Review: I have been using this thing in my computer since 2012. I do not play really advanced games. I am more of a classic gamer, but I do play Diablo 3 and Starcraft 2. I have never ran into a problem playing games or watching movies with this video card. The only thing I can say that annoyed me was the hdmi port was not putting out any sound, although this is probably due to something else rather than the card itself. The manufacturer really did a good job with this card. Obviously its not the fastest thing around but 6 years of constant use really says something about the quality. The time has come for me to retire it though. I will be upgrading shortly.
