AWSOME CARD 11/28/2019 3:45:23 PM

Pros: I didn't have any of the problems people complained about , like overheating , or noise

Cons: None

Overall Review: This has been one of my best cards that I've owned yet !!

Runs amazing when working correctly 2/20/2019 10:35:51 PM

Pros: Card is amazing when it works properly. Have no complaints in that department. Handles anything I throw at it even as a streamer I don’t drop below 200fps on pretty much any game I play. EVGA has been amazing with customer service and has replaced the first 2 no questions asked and even extended the warranty for me. I just wished I didn’t have to deal with RMA’s

Cons: I’m currently on my 3rd card within 18 months and it’s extremely disappointing to me because I’ve used nothing but EVGA cards for almost 10 years now and I’ve never had to RMA a card, not once. This generation of card has been faulty in my experience. The card runs extremely hot (80-85C) and all 3 have had a buzzing noise when under full load. Eventually I end up getting massive FPS drops and skipping anytime a video is running (Netflix, YouTube, twitch doesn’t matter). Currently the 3rd card has already started showing the same signs of decline so I imagine it will fail within the next two weeks. That’s been about the timeline of the other 2.

Overall Review: I would honestly give the card 5 eggs because when it works properly it satisfies all my needs with ease. And I can even be a little understanding in that sometimes components just fail. But about to RMA it for a 3rd time is just unacceptable in my book. I’m at a point with the card that I would like to just get refunded for the card and buy something else. Hopefully you have better luck then I did with them.

Hopefully this is the last F.E. card Nvidia makes 9/3/2018 9:09:54 AM

Pros: 5 starts for the following:

EVGA being a reliable company. Buying a FE card from them is a no brainer.

When the fans are cranked to 80-85%, this card will automatically boost clock to 1910mhz and it's gone a bit higher than that. I haven't touched any of the core or memory clock settings.

35% performance increase over the GTX 1080 if it's used at 3820x2160. This card is also the best you can get for a 2k/144hz setup just as long as you combine that with a CPU like the Core i7-8700k. A fast CPU will really help out if your FPS fluctuate between 80fps and 100fps.

Plays nearly all games at 4k while being able to give you 60fps

The blower cooler shoots the hot air out of the case.

Nvidia drivers are almost always stable.

This card consumes around 230w which isn't bad.

Originally I had a set of 8gb RX 480 cards in Crossfire that was being used to push that one 28" Samsung 4k monitor you (the person reading this) always see on sale. The RX 480 combo worked great in some games but it needed to be turned off for others. I got this because I needed reliability and stability at 4k.

Cons: 1. The F.E. cooler. It's horrible! Even if I run the fans at 85% the Boost Clock is still BOTTLENECKED by how inefficient this cooler is. I choose to buy the EVGA SC2 AIO cooler for this card which really allowed this card to shine.

2. This card doesn't score super high on synthetic benchmarks. Do not use pass-mark to base a decision on a Graphics card.

Overall Review: I intended to add this to my waterloop but I'm not sure if I will since any GTX Pascal card won't go much past 2100mhz on a good day. Eventually I got the SC2 AIO cooler for this card which is more than enough.

Excellent product 6/20/2017 7:58:22 PM

Pros: Extremely powerful graphics card
Plenty of DisplayPort plugs

Cons: Power intensive
Runs very hot (83C+)

Overall Review: Make sure you have a solid Power Supply before buying this GPU. It will require at least 250 watts just for itself. Usually a motherboard, CPU, RAM and Hard Drive will require another 200 to 250 watts. So, I would recommend getting at least a 600 watt power supply that is 80 plus bronze rated or above.

best option for water cooling and nvidia cards overall 6/11/2017 4:58:56 PM

Pros: -the reference design is more than good enough for overclocking if you water cool
-evga allows you to modify the cooling on the card without losing the warranty
-3 year warranty

Cons: -it wasn't tax deductible. at least not in any way that won't get you audited by the IRS

Overall Review: i love the reference design because water blocks are always available early from several manufacturers and in several different colors/metals/forms/etc. i got my 1080 Ti on release day and there were 10 different full cover water blocks available for this card ranging from $90 to $150. i went with the EK nickle/plexi block. you can never go wrong with that.

-EK was extremely thoughtful by using the same threaded screws as the stock cooler. this allows you to use the factory backplate with their water cooling block. it works just as well and saves you money

Great card for performance 6/8/2017 9:36:12 AM

Pros: Well cooled
easy to configure with software

Cons: -wish their cooling curve by default was a little more aggressive on cooling vs sound

NEW GEAR!!!!!!!! 6/7/2017 6:32:53 PM

Pros: MAD!!! power house card , ran GHOST RECON WILDLANDS benchmark on Ultra settings and it ran fully!

Cons: Initially , the card I thought was D.O.A. and after getting replacement was the same,....HOWEVER!!, It turns out that the 990FX AMD motherboard I was using apparently was not compatible with the Video card even though it meets all current standards , once changing the Board the card was FINE!!!

Overall Review: YES! , this card is great ,..BUT! ,..please check all your hardware as even if it's currently sold/supported !!!

Love EVGA and these cards 6/4/2017 5:40:49 PM

Pros: Fastest reasonable cards not titans. EVGA support and warranty. Low power and heat

Cons: Loud when pushed hard with the stock cooler. Not close to 4k ready as claimed

Overall Review: Using 2 of these for 1440p and have great performance when paired with a 3930k at 4.6 Ghz
They overclock well 2025 and 2050 for the GPU and from 11k to 12k MHz on the memory on water
I am happy with my purchases though 2 gets pricey these cards really should be 100$ cheaper per.
2k$ spend on 2 with waterblocks is abit much for the performance had.
