Sweep through the battle field, conquer and destroy whoever is in front of you with the EVGA GeForce GTX 690 Hydro Copper Signature.

Combining two category leading Kepler GPUs, the video card delivers game-changing performance with amazing 3072 CUDA Cores, 4GB/512-bit GDDR5 memory - your gaming enter a new level of realism with vivid, true-to-life details at exceptionally high resolution. In addition the second to none gaming power, this card also adopts the cutting-edge water cooling solution so you can enjoy the most intense combat for hours without worrying about overheating or noise. Make the top gaming gear yours today, and revolutionize your gaming experience for ever.

  • newegg Liquid Cooling With water-cooling support, the EVGA GeForce GTX 690 Hydro Copper Signature video card can keep running cool even at full load, with minimized noise. It also contributes to a thinner profile for easy installation and multiple cards configuration.
  • newegg Kepler GPU Architecture NVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
  • newegg NVIDIA GPU Boost Up until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
  • newegg NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync Nothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
  • newegg NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four Monitors Nothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
  • newegg Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAA Anti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.

Total Beast 8/27/2012 11:34:07 AM

Pros: The card is without a doubt a beast when it works. Probably one of the top 2 or 3 on the market if not #1. New eggs handling of the card was obviously excellent it arrived very well double packaged.

Cons: I ordered a 2nd card so I could SLI it and it showed up DOA. You would think a card as expensive as this one would have been tested before it was sent out. As good as they are packaged it is hard to believe it was damaged in shipping since the boxes showed up in perfect shape.

Overall Review: It is a total pain to have a water cooled card show up DOA. Never mind the mess of changing cooling lines, now I have a comp sitting here with one card and extra lines waiting while the card is RMA'd. Which Newegg did promptly but the procedure is time consuming , probably somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 to 4 weeks or possibly more since I now see they are out of stock again. Also so far I have had to foot the bill for shipping both ways on a defective card. I personally think Evga should be covering that for the inconvenience of all of this.

WOW 8/6/2012 8:57:36 AM

Pros: 1. Overclocks Like a Dream... And stays very stable...have 2 in Sli
2. The Framerates on Unigine Heaven Never Go below 100 but I am using my GTX 670 as a dedicated Physx (IK it's extreme overkill...But what else am i going to do with an extra card)
3. Great Power Consumption

Cons: None

Overall Review: Bought elsewhere, although the price is the same on newegg

You Get What You Pay For... 7/30/2012 11:23:54 PM

Pros: Let's see, where to begin. The first REAL powerful dual GPU board from nVidia that doesn't take a huge power hit over an original 2 separate GPU's. Low power consumption. Low heat....(even the air-based one doesn't fry up your computer). And unlike the guy under me - It doesn't NEED to be overclocked....(seriously). This card is one hell of a beast. With an AMD Bulldozer 8150 FX, 16GB of ram, and a random 480 I have sitting around for PhysX processing, this card DEMOLISHES any and EVERY game you throw at it on the HIGHEST setting with 8x AA, 16x AF @ 2560 res without a blink. This is by FAR one of the most monstrous cards to have dropped from nVidia and even more-so beefed up by EVGA. Ordered mine directly from EVGA; replaced 3 GTX 480's - So you can imagine its power. Happy camper.

Dual-slotted? So what - So is the 680 Hydrocopper. Be smart, save up, get one of these and open yourself up for another for Quad SLI in the future.

Cons: It doesn't double as a hot date.

Overall Review: So seriously - Why would you NEED to overclock this? And if you did, it's not hard at all - Precision X from EVGA makes it VERY easy to overclock. Don't whine about OC issues on a card that doesn't need to be OC'd, just go get another for quad SLI...(snicker).

As far as temperature, in LOAD, my card doesn't get past around 38C, and that's after 3 hours of playing Crysis 2 and Battlefield 3.

To those of you with a tiny case - Watch it, this card is @*%( near huge. It was about 3 inches longer than my 480 with 1 inch in girth difference as well as it being dual-slot.

Follow up on my first review 7/22/2012 12:55:26 PM

Pros: I add one more egg because both EVGA and Newegg have responsed to my review.

Cons: I still stuck with a top of the line expensive card that has no overclock headroom.

Overall Review: I have went through a lot forums to find the average GPU clock speed of the GTX690, most of them are air cool. Looks like most can make it to 1700Mhz without much effort but mine cannot even made it to the 1035Mhz without crashings. I understand that getting a good video card for overclocking is a hit and miss just like a CPU, but it is a top of the line product and should be at least the average. So far I don't have much problem if I run it at stock speed but only time will tell.

Manufacturer Response:
Hello,

I do apologize if you are unhappy with the overclocking headroom of the card. Overclocks past the rated speed can vary from card to card and not something we can gaurantee to be stable.

Amazing graphics card, crazy price :( 7/22/2012 12:03:21 PM

Pros: I purchased this off of the EVGA website but wanted to run over here to review the product for everyone. This graphics card is blazingly (is that even a word?) fast. Running at stock speeds (I overclocked it, more on that in a bit) it can obviously handle any video game you throw at it. To give you an idea, I can run Crysis 2 with the high res texture pack and DX11 texture pack at a solid 60FPS (with Vsync) and average 85 FPS without Vsync. Overclocking is unbelievably easy with the EVGA precision tool. I can get stable temps (60-70 degrees) with an overclock of 1100 MHZ with a standard liquid cooling loop.

In summary: amazingly fast, overclocks well.

Cons: Price :( I can't give something 5 eggs that costs over 1200 dollars when the standard GTX 690 is 999 (non signature edition). I understand the price for sure, with 2 GPUs that are currently the fastest on the market on a single card you can't expect too much cheaper; but I could buy an old car for that much cash.

Also, doesn't include the waterblock (I know that's standard but I wish the waterblock was included for this price)

Overall Review: Just as a bit of a disclaimer for people that might not know, you MUST water cool this card! MUST. It does NOT come with a GPU fan, your ONLY option is watercooling. So if you don't have watercooling knowledge or are not interested in running a watercooling loop in your PC, DON'T buy this card.

Sweet mercy, this things is AWESESOME 7/22/2012 8:05:25 AM

Pros: This card is AMAZING, yeah it was expensive, as soon as i got it going i put it through every high powered game i could throw at it and it just ate them all up on MAX setting, tried a few benchmarks too and even maxed it never dropped below 58 ffp. started to play around with overclocking and the EVGA Percision X tool is incredible and with a great GUI.
Temps are doing quite well, Room temp is about 80F right now and my GPU idle is 25C under heavy load it (ie running a bench mark while converting HD video) got to 42C.
I love the dynamic boost system and makes for getting the desired results of overclocking really easy.

Cons: doesnt fold my laundry, waterblock LED doesnt work with the LED controls.

Overall Review: Evga makes some awesome stuff designed for overclocking, This Flag ship of a graphics card is a testiment to their dedication to quality.
Some of the extras that came in the box were nice, ie T-shirt, gaming mouse pad and case stuff. i do wish they would roll the posters instead of folding them.

Worth the money in my book 7/22/2012 3:24:57 AM

Pros: 1) consumes less power than 2 GTX680s in SLI
2) performs nearly on the same level as 2 GTX680s in SLI
3) consume less space *using a single card compared to having to get 1 more other card for SLI
4) bragging rights galore ;)
5) can play anything with more than satisfying results on 2560x1440 resolution what more with 1080 res on nvidia surround.

Cons: price if you can't afford it and some say having 2 actual GTX680s in SLI run better than a single GTX690 especially when overclocked, but that's another story.

Overall Review: Can't say much other than in about a years time the 700series card would eventually be out, but super happy with this purchase and choice of video card. works perfect with my new Samsung Series 9 S27B970D 27"inch PLS monitor! if you have the cash get this card, it's not overrated, you won't know how great a card this is till you try it out! current game I'm playing right now is Battlefield 3 and Shogun 2 Total War with everything maxed out at 8x MSAA with 50+ fps

worse than regular air cool GTX690 7/16/2012 10:26:46 PM

Pros: Run ok at stock clock(933Mhz) and can keep the temperature at 16 C idle and 27 C at full load with inline water chiller.

Cons: Not good at all on overclocking. I cannot get it to run steady or without crash at just 1030 Mhz even if I kept the temperature below 16 C. and yet I cannot return it because it can run at the stock 933Mhz speed and is not broken.

Overall Review: I ordered it as soon as I saw it online at EVGA store. I should have wait and buy it at Newegg. (Newegg had it two days later), not only I would have save some money as Shipment cost $48.18 and UPS brokeage cost another $170.61, but probably would have got a better part. My friend's air cool Asus GTX 690 could run 1200Mhz and passed 3DMark 11 without crashing when installed on my PC eventhough the temperature hit the 70s. I had been using waterblock since the GTX8800 and this is the worst one I got for overclocking.
