Question 1

I was wondering, how hot does this card run under load? I currently have a GTX 470 supercloked, and that thing can get up to 90c under heavy load. I am looking to upgrade, but at the same time i don't want to buy another furnace.

If you're experiencing issues with higher temps under load, I have to ask - are you using some type of monitoring system?  If you don't set up profiles in the Nvidia control panel the fan speed will default to 40% under load. My recommendation would be, use EVGA's Precision X to monitor your GPU fan.

Question 2

Upgrading to this card from a GTX 660, I have mid case and it's awesome! I can't seem to fit my YOU KNOW WHAT in my case and I know this card is as long as my YOU KNOW WHAT. So why my question is will I be able to fix this card into my case?

If your are able to fit your full length 660/660ti , you will be able to fit this card. Just be sure that you have at least 1x 8 pin pci-e and 1x 6-pin pci-e power available and that your power supply has ample amperage to support the 770.

Question 3

quick question i have the CX 750W PSU that only has 2 X 6 pin power connectors can i use the include adapter with this card and plug one 6 pin in the the 8 pin adapter and the other 6 pin in the the card its self?? i ask because the adapter included has t 6 pin to one 8 pin.

I just realized, you can use the Molex to 6-pin adapter that comes with the GPU to create a 3rd 6-pin connection and then combine the 2 using the other 6-pin to 8-pin adapter.

Question 4

Im wondering if this is compatible with my current system:
MB - Gigbyte GA-78LMT-USB3 780g
CPU - AMD FX 8350 AM3+ 
RAM - 16gb DDR3
POwer unit - 650w
Currently have a 1g GTX 650

If I buy this card will I be able to just install it and play? or do I need to upgrade anything else? Thanks in advance for answers

That PSU 650w should be big enough for 1 card. However, make sure you have 2 8-pin video card power connectors. You'll need those for the ACX Cooling adapter on the card. Other than that, should be plug and play, install nvidia drivers and you should be good to go... I did go ahead and purchase backplates for both of my GTX 770's, it'll help make the card run a little cooler, and a little more rigid so it doesn't sag as much when installed... You can get those straight from EVGA and they're pretty cheap and ship relatively quickly...

is this sli ready?

If you're asking if it has a connection and proper adapter for SLI, then yes.  If you're asking if you can just plug it in and go, no.  You will need to go through the nVidia utility inside your OS and set your preferences after plugging it in.

Question 6

Does this card have HDCP support so I can watch blue-ray movies with the copy protection? I'm currently using a Nvidia GTX 660 Ti that will not support watching them.

Your 660 Ti supports HDCP as does this card.  You must have HDCP video card connected by DisplayPort, DVI, HDMI, to your HDCP monitor.

Question 7

Is this video card supposed to crash your PC every once in a while? It's happened at least 5x+ ever since I installed this card. PC just freezes and shuts down out of no where. Temperature was fine.

This sounds similar to a driver issue that I was experiencing after I installed my card. I removed all NVidia software including the 3D Vision and NVidia Experience. Then I rebooted and did a clean install with just the drivers enabled. No 3D or Experience add-ons. That solved my problem. If that doesn't help I recommend contacting EVGA support. They can RMA the card worse case but they can probably help you get it figured out over the phone.

I'd like to upgrade from a GeForce 530  to this.

My processor is i7 @3.40ghz and 600 watt power supply.

I have no clue if this card will fit in my computer? as I'm not big on tech stuff. I bought my whole machine from hp and my tower is quite big.

The minimum power required for this card is 600W.  But the card itself need 230W of that.  You need to open your PC up and look at your power supply.  On one of the sides is a sticker it will list out the rails, find the one that says +12V, may be 12V_A, B or C or even 12V_1, 2 or 3 and read the max current on each, not total current.  Each rail will have max current separately not combined.

Some simple math would be for this.  If you want to know current draw for the card you take Watts / Voltage.  In this it would be 230W / 12V = 19.2Amps required on the 12V rail.  Then you check the sticker and see if the rail can support that much current draw.  If not then you can't use this cause doubt the HP machines would simply allow you to change the PSU since the Motherboard connector is different than the typical ATX layout.

will this card run well on a pci express 2.0 slot or will it be hindered by it, I know previous gen wasn't but not sure about this gen?

There's barely any difference between 3.0 and 2.0. I ran a 3.0 card in a 2.0 slot before and everything was well. Same card went into a 3.0 mobo and there was no difference.

Question 10

What would be the minimum power supply unit that you would recommend for this video card?

The specs say 600w is the minimum, but it also depends on your system and what else you have in it, and also how much you plan on using this at full power. 
I would not go for anything less than 650w for this card, and recommend 750w - which is what I use.

Also, you need to make sure that your power supply has the necessary connectors. This card needs a 6 pin and 8 pin power connector.
