The Falken Wildpeak A/T3W (OE) is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs and light truck vehicles. This model is the original equipment tire of select vehicles.
The tire offers excellent all weather traction thanks to the silica tire compound and the deep tread grooves. They maintain road contact and firmly grip the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The deep tread grooves also disperse water and slush from below the tire footprint to improve the model’s hydroplaning resistance. The deep grooves clean out mud and snow from between the tread elements, enhancing the traction. The better road gripping ability and hydroplaning resistance increase the tire’s year round driving safety levels.
The tire has excellent off-road capability. The aggressive upper sidewall design and the offset shoulder tread blocks find good grip on loose, soft and uneven road surfaces. They also protect the tire from rocks that can harm it during off-road performance. Even when the model has low tire pressure, it is capable of performing safely in such conditions.
The rugged and rigid tread blocks eject rocks stuck between the tread elements and, in this manner, prevent stone retention.
The tread design’s 3D canyon sipes, the rigid and rugged tread blocks, the outer apex sidewall and the Heat Diffuser Technology work together to improve the tire’s handling. They stabilize the tire’s road contact and improve its resistance to the driving forces affecting it. The tread design improves the steering responsiveness as well, making the tire easier to control. The outer apex sidewall, along with the Heat Diffuser Technology, reinforces the tire against heat buildup in the lower sidewall area. This prevents the tire shape from deforming and enhances the driving durability.
The Wildpeak A/T3W (OE) ’s tread pattern features 3D Canyon siping detail and deep tread grooves. This special design extends the tread life and tire usability. The tire prevents irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread area by evenly distributing the driving pressure along the tire surface. The better heat and pressure distribution enhances the tire’s usability greatly.
