What antenna with wires should I get for this for use with a desktop? Specifically, one that is already set up with motherboard holes in the I/O shield for wifi antenna coax pass through. The kind of antenna that sits on top that handles both connections.

Something like "UFL to SMA M.2 NGFF U.FL to RP-SMA Female MHF4 IPX4 IPEX4 Ipex Connector Pigtail".  this is a m.2 which is slightly smaller than the connectors on a pcie (older) wireless cards.  MHF2 is the older and MHF4 is the newer.  SMA female is the standard connection on the outside that takes wifi antennas

Will this fit a half-mini pci-e slot on motherboard?

"2 slot (or vice-versa) it will not function correctly. M. 2 PCI-E drives should really be used in a socket that supports the same number of PCI-E lanes as the drive for maximum performance, although any M. 2 PCI-E drive will work in either a PCI-E x2 or PCI-E x4 socket provided they have the same key." So I wouldnt recommend it.

Do I have to use additional antennae with this model like some other models come?

It only uses two antennae connection's which all of my current device have so no additional connection's were needed.

Why is not card stated not compatible with lenovo laptops? I want an upgrade for my flexbook14API as the curent chip has connectivity issues and this is the only card available that supports the 802.11ax standard with this form factor.

Some laptops have a hardcoded WiFi adapter whitelist in the BIOS to prevent owners from upgrading their hardware. I'm not sure if EVERY Lenovo laptop is mired by a whitelist but apparently a few of them are. If yours is, you might be able to find an unofficially modified BIOS that removes the whitelist but that could result in a bricked motherboard if not done correctly.

Is this item new and will it work with an Intel Core i7-8550U 8th Gen CPU?

It should as long as you have the right slot in your desktop / laptop.  I used it in a laptop with an Intel I3-7th gen processor.  Make sure you get the drivers from Intel's website instead of relying on Windows Update drivers before you install the card.

I actually don't remember because I tried a few of these (this being one of them). I was looking for range too and settled on Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I and I'm really happy with it.

I currently have a Intel dual-band-N 7260 card in my Dell 7700 series, will this card work in my laptop?

It depends on what form factor your laptop motherboard and 7260 card are. If your laptop motherboard has a mini PCIE (half height) interface, then it cannot accommodate the newer AX200 which is M.2 Key E form factor. The 7260 was made in both form factors (as far as I know) and the AX200 is M.2 only (as far as I know). Also, Intel only publishes Win 10 drivers for the AX200 so if your using any other OS that may be an issue. If your laptop has a M.2 Key E and is running Win 10 then you "should" be able to upgrade to AX200!
