Comments: great stuff here, currntly running a 3800-x2 on a dfi-nf4 ultra-d @ 250mhz 2.5-3-2-0 stable for 19 hours 4 min prime 95 on each core. good price to performance ratio, as the timings are pretty good for a 2x1gb set.

Pros: 2gigs of relatevly lo-cost , extra low timings capapable memory from known O/C memory maker
Cons: somewhat low-budget packaging :)
Overall Review: Still haven't time to properly o/c it, but runs great on Dfi lanparty Nf4-Ultra and x2 3800 on default settings :)
Pros: Obviously the main pro is the fact that it's 2GB of memory!! Next to that, the latency is very good for 2GB's and the overclocking is pretty good. I hit a wall at 237MHz with 2.5-3-2-7 and raising any of the timings doesn't help me get past there. I also tried to raise the voltage but nothing past 2.8 seems to help any either. Maybe if I burn this stuff in a little while she will go 10 more MHz, that's all I need it to do to get my CPU back to 2.7, where it was with my 1GB kit before. Either way, the performance of 2GB's is well worth any drop in clock speeds. And it runs ROCK SOLID!! 12 hours prime and all that good stuff.
Cons: Didn't hit 250 out of the box, but maybe with some burn-in. I would also like to note that going from 1T to 2T didn't help with overclocking either. So I would say that this stuff likes 1T just fine.
Overall Review: I don't see how running with a Tras of 0 is helping the gentleman below. I am on an Asus A8N SLI Deluxe and my Tras always performs better at 9, or 10, no matter what clock speed or latency it is set to. Anything under 7 always seems to choke my memory controller and actually kills performance. But, that's just me... try them all!!
Pros: the price!, and this is my second set, with a 3rd on the way, the second set i have also does 250mhz at 2.5-3-2-0, and upto 265 at 3-3-2-0, all on the dfi nf4 ultra-d
again great price to performance ratio.
Cons: ughhh

Great Memory !!8/28/2006 11:41:36 AM
Pros: First, I put almost a month of effort into deciding which RAM kit to buy for my new Opteron 165 system and this one won. Xtremesystems.org has a "must-read" review of this product. I run 3-4-4-8 timings @ 1T, which is what everyone agrees is best. Read the review (above) and you'll see what I mean.
Cons: The memory is great, really. But in retrospect I think I should have spend the extra $xx or the "HZ" memory. I'm happy with my purchase, but could have done better. Also, I learned recently that this memory has the "Infeon" chips, which is regarded by hard-core overclockers to be not as good as TCCD. I really don't know what either of those two things mean, but that's what other people say & think.
Overall Review: The memory is really beautiful. It appears to heat spreaders are glued to the chips, in case you are someone that might want to pry them off. Also, I think it is a bit much for an HP User to complain about a compatibility problem with his HP. Well duh. ALL memory for pre-built computers is incompatible with the pre-built computer. That is why smart people don't buy pre-built computers. It's not fair to blame the memory. Blame HP and blame yourself, duh.
Pros: For sure this kit is worth every penny! Very tight timings and WILL do ddr500 @ 2.5-3-2-0 on Nforce 4 motherboards! I play BF2 for hours running this ram at DDR500 with these timings! No bsods or lockups since i got it! And like ALWAYS NEWEGG ROCKS!!!
Cons: NOTHING! I wish they had more colors of heatspreaders lol thats about it!
Overall Review: System specs running this ram!
X2 3800+ @ 2.65 stable!
XFX 7800GT
DFI Ultra -D
OCZ modstream 520w
and this ram!
ram does 6.5 GBPS in sandra!

Very Nice!6/26/2006 9:05:31 AM
Pros: Very fast memory. I have just the 2 sticks for now, but I do plan on purchasing the other 2GB. I highly recommend this item.
Cons: Price isnt to bad, but could steer some people away I guess.
Overall Review: Just get this stuff dont bother looking for any other memory. I wasnt a G.Skill guy before, but Im hooked as long as the push out products like this. So, flip out the credit card and buy it now.
Pros: I've been running 4GB of this on my ASUS P4C-800E Deluxe mobo with P-4E proc, and it really makes the system run faster and smoother! NOW I can start seriously OC-ing the system! ASUS P4C800E Deluxe mobo, Prescott P-4E 3.4GHz proc, ATI XL800-XT A-I-W graphics, 24" Acer LCD, 350GB storage, 600W power.
Cons: I really don't like the ID labels being pasted over a "hot" part of the heat sink. There are no chips under the center portion on either side of the RAM PCBs, so they should place the labels there, instead of where they are blocking heat xfer. I tried to very carefully peel them off and relocate them, but they started shredding, so I left them in place. I really do not like reducing heat xfer out of any component of an already-hot-enough Prescoot-powered system. However, I do have 8 fans keeping temps well under control.
Overall Review: EXCELLENT product, and the usual EXCELLENT two-day delivery time from NewEgg! THANX!
