Pros: - Trident Z RGB is known for being highly compatible with most boards out there - one of the few 3200 models on the QVL list for my am4 mobo

Cons: - has ignored my advances - will not make me a sandwhich - does not run hot enough to warm my coffee

Overall Review: has run flawlessly and continuously in my system for about half a year now.

Pros: It comes with a 14/3200 ratio in XMP mode but was able to BIOS it from 9/2400 all the way to 15/4000 for gaming. Great flexibility. Best results at 12/3400...1.6V ('gaming' stable)

Cons: After a bunch of tweaking and overclocking one of the two sticks stooped registering. swapped the sticks between each other and back to normal. no real problems for 6 months now.

Overall Review: April 25, 2019 update: Running this kit fully stable at 4000 Mhz (16-17-17-37) 1.42 V (MSI MEG Z390 ACE mobo) in Memetest86! Pros: -If you're into RGB there is nothing better than 8 sticks of it. -Setting it with XMP worked with no issues on my Gigabyte Gaming 9 x299. -128GB of RAM. Seriously?? Yup. You need that much space. -Playing games with a RAM drive is great. -Can load Fallout 4 into a RAM drive. All 95GB of it.

Cons: -G.SKILL needs to work on the lighting control software. Hit or miss on when/if it'll work. -Price. Yeah. Can't go without mentioning that. Better have deep pockets or be willing to sell your kidney/house. -Nothing else in the cheap box except a case badge. Seriously. For that price I'd expect much better packaging and a cool t-shirt.

Overall Review: Not sure who to blame but Windows will not show the speed this RAM is running at. It shows 2133Mhz not matter what I do. But with CPU-Z and every other app it will show that it does run at 3600Mhz. Get on that Microsoft. I'm calling you out on that one. Everything else about this RAM is great. G.SKILL always makes a quality product. Thankfully I got a large case from CaseLabs. I sleep in it at night since I sold my house to buy this RAM kit.

Pros: Easy install, no tweaks as it's not overclocked, running with Ryzen 1700. Worked from the first boot, never had a single issue due to this memory, would buy again in a hearbeat.

Cons: Geez, um, that I didn't get more?!

Overall Review: Absolutely would recommend if it's compatible with your board.

Pros: I ordered this not paying attention to the fact that this wasn’t the “Ryzen Compatible” version or approved for my Asrock x370 Motherboard. But everything is working fine. No problems with incompatibility at all.

Cons: None as of this moment.

Pros: My ASUS Maximus Hero X identified and set the timings correctly in XMP. Runs at 3600Mz stable on this board. Supports ASUS Aura Sync

Overall Review: Works great with my 8700k on my Z370 Maximus Hero X. Stable at 3600Mz in Prime 95 and other stress tests. RGB on this memory kit is the best I've seen. Ended up buying another kit so I'm running 32Gb in my 4 DIMM slots.

Pros: Works perfect with Asus aura sync, run at rated overclock speed straight from XMP profile no adjustment necessary

Overall Review: I could not get my four sticks of 8 G Skill Ripjaws V to run at the rated 3600 speed. I wondered if it was just too much for the memory controller to handle within four separate sticks. Popped these in and my Asus ROG Crosshair Hero VII immediately recognized them and set the XMP profile and they run 3600 no issues at all. Aura Sync picked them up and matched the LED color to the rest of my system. What more could I ask for?

Pros: Great performing RAM out of the box, recognized instantly by my ASUS X299 Prime Deluxe Motherboard. The individual LEDs on each module look great, and the AURA sync compatibility really highlights the versatility of these modules in your lighting scheme. The overclock was recognized instantly, and with little configuration I was up and running with some of the fastest RAM currently available.

Cons: I'm sure I'm not the first to say this, but these modules are expensive. In part, you're paying for the RGB, as you can get similarly performing modules for less. The price of RAM is also a bit inflated as of this writing due to the higher than normal demand.

Overall Review: The black and RBG nature of these modules make them look great in any case with any color scheme. I stayed loyal to G.Skill because they replaced modules that ran 24/7 for eight years without incident. Nothing I do is critical enough to justify paying for ECC RAM, but I still feel like there is something to be said for modules that can maintain that longevity over nearly a decade. As I intend to do a lot more virtualization in the future, the 64 GB kit will provide all the memory I will need for quite a while.
