Pros: A little on the expensive side but I was building my "crusher" PC and not only do these look good as soon as put them in everything just fired right up with no problems at all. As far as OC'ing goes, I bought the new ASUS Big Bang Fusion, pressed the OC button, fired up the PC and no issues at all. I'm letting the MB handle the OC and all seems to be working just fine! I truly recommend this RAM.

Cons: None. Solid RAM for a very reasonable price.

Overall Review: Na... not a real big thinker.

Pros: This ram was installed into my Asus P7P55 WS Supercomputer Motherboard with no issues or modifications needed. This was paired with an Intel Core I7 860 cpu. I was worried about compatability because the MB specs listed this kits 3 Channel 6 gb kit, but I went with the 8. which was not listed. I am not a big overclocker and have not adjusted any timing settings for these, but do want to. This ram is very fast and stays very cool with no aftermarket adjustments. Windows 7 appears to be using about one stick of this ram for system processes and the other 6 is left for program allocation, which read is about right. The heatsinks on this ram looks great with a red color scheme and cool jaged fins on heatsink. Their are 4 screw holes in the top of the ram which im assuming is for further cooling. I saw other ram packs that had these extra heatsinks included. Mine did not and I wonder why as this would have been a perfect package deal. As for OC support????Im running at sys specs.

Cons: The only real con that I can really give these sticks is that with most ram in a full 4 channel sets that i've found. They usualy come with a detachable screw on heatsink which screws to each ram chip for added thermal protection. This set did NOT come with one. Each ram stick has a small screw on the flat middle section of the stick which leads me to believe that there is an added heatsink. If you buy a full 4 channel set, like other manufacturers, these pieces should be provided. Secondly, which is not a con to the Ram but more to my motherboard manufacturer. My motherboard does have ram overclocking settings but as of now according to my Turbo V Evo Software, which is part of Asus's AI Suite Application for monitoring cpu configurations my ram is only running at 1333. There are no higher settings then that without manualy adjusting the ram which Im not familiar with. This is aggrivating knowing that this ram is made to run at 2000. Though problem isnt in manufacturer, its MB.

Skill Trident DDR3 2000 - 1tb Caviar Black Sata Hardrive w/ 300 Gigs for Media and 2 500 Gigs for Backup (Non Raid) and an extra 750 gig for extra storage capacity. - Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate in 64 bit - Creative Sound Blaster 7.1 Profess1onal Fatality Titanium Edition - 2 Sony Optiarc 24x DVD/CD RW, and Sony DVD Reader - Packed into a Rosewill Destroyer Case w/ RX850 PSU All cooled with 5 Apevia CD12SL-UBL 120mm fans No overclocking and I have a 7.5 Windows 7 Performance Index, with an operating tempature of 20C idle and 25-30c under load on avg. Very rarely see in hit above 25 normaly. This configuration is insane!! And im not even Sli'd yet!!!
