I'm running almost that exact setup. It was unstable at 3000 though so I'm running the ram at 2933 (?, I think, this was the closest to 3000) using just the xmp in the bios. Haven't had any problems since switching to that frequency. The price is right for that RAM and the lack of enormous heat spreaders is a nice bonus for tight ITX enclosures.

I have a G.Skill Aegis 16B (2x8) DDR4 Ram paired with an MSI X370 GAMING PLUS MB and an AMD Ryzen Processor. The board was new when I purchased it so the Corsair memory bundled with the board from Newegg did not work well together. So I picked out the G.Skill RAM and I went to the board's Support page and clicked on compatibility lists and I checked that the G.Skill model number was listed as compatible and it works great. So my suggestion to you is to do the same AS I did - go to the board's compatibility page and check that the memory is approved by the manufacturer for your board. I wish I could give you a yes or no answer but I just do not know. Good Luck!

Unfortunately AMD chipsets are not listed on the QVL so there is no guarantee this kit will work with a Ryzen CPU and motherboard.  My apologies for the inconvenience.

After BIOS update, I had no problems running it in XMP profile at 3000 MHz with R5 1600 on a Gigabyte B450 Aorus M.
