Should work with your board/proc. You can check the motherboard QVL list, but they may just not have verified this kit yet.

This is what I picked up when shopping for this:

16-16-16-36 is considered "tighter" timings, and lower is better as it is a latency measurement. However, costs more. Probably not worth it if timings are not things you want to care about. Performance difference for a majority of users will not be noticeable. I include myself in that category.

4x8 configuration is generally better because of the memory controller setup (less chips per mem controller). Single rank vs dual rank for the 2x16. I dont know that you would notice this either. If you only had 2 mem slots and needed 32gb, then I'd get the 2x16.

I would go 4 x 8 for gaming and 2 x 16 only if you plan on running 4x 16 in the future for audio video tasks that may require lots of memory.
