This Combo being sold here includes the following:Intel 270K Plus Bundled with MSI MPG Z890 CARBON WIFI and G.SKILL F5-6400J3239G16GX2-TZ5RK but on the MSI's compatibility checker it does not show this ram as compatible with this combo. Do you know if this is true? Has anyone had any issues.

Completely compatible. I enabled xmp to achieve the advertised speed and timings without issue. I've since abandoned xmp to run higher than rated speed and tighter than rated timings simultaneously. Very stable platform. It was also very simple to overclock all cores on the 270k do to the excellent bios and vrms. Just make sure to update the bios before you start tuning. This motherboard allows you to update the bios even with no CPU and ram installed.

I talked to G Skill Tech support turns out they can't say whether model number of ram is single or dual rank. it depends on what type of chips they had laying around when the batch was going to be manufactured. They told me that in theory, you could add two of these kits to your cart right now, and one of them could end up being single rank and the other dual. Only way to know is with software once they are in your computer. I think here we have to use deductive reasoning. we know that dual rank cards wont clock as high as single rank cards. so the 7800 trident cards are likely to be single rank. and these slower cards are likely to be dual rank cards. I don't know if that's true but it seems reasonable to me. you??
