Pros: low power consumption. doesn't require a 6-pin connector (which my dell insprion 530 does not have). no snags at all on a dell inspiron 530 with a 300W power supply, 3gb ram, 2 hard drives, optical drive and intel core 2 duo e6550. VERY easy to install.

Cons: this card is LOUD during boot up and under load. the fan ran at full blast until i installed the proper drivers. fairly quiet at idle. perhaps it's my dell's layout, but i had to snug the card under the edges of my ram clips. this means that i'll have to remove the card in order to open unsnap the ram clips if/when i want to upgrade my ram then reinstall the card after the ram clips are closed. the box was missing the advertised full-sized mounting bracket. i had to install it with my old mounting bracket, which covers the hdmi port. i contacted galaxy and they've offered to send me the full-sized one free of charge. i will update if they don't follow through on their promise.

Overall Review: i wasn't looking for the hottest gaming rig of the century. i just wanted to extend the life of my dell inspiron 530, which had an 8600gt installed previously. i haven't run into any of the heat issues that other people seem to be having, but this may be because i have the standard sized case, not the slim. speedfan tells me that it idles at around 49-51C and runs up to 61C under load. ambient temperature in my apartment is about 70-75 degrees F. i've been playing dragon age origins and world in conflict without incident. this card still can't handle max settings, but it's head and shoulder above the 8600gt that i was running previously. i needed a graphics solution that had low power requirements and a reasonable price point. this galaxy card fit the bill perfectly and though it's only been a week, i'm very pleased with it.

Pros: This card has a very good price with rebate. It is sturdy, easy to install on the motherboard and Windows XP w/SP3 recognized it at bootup. Once the drivers were installed from the provided CD, setup was a snap and didn't require any additional driver updates from the web or any "tweaking" to get it going. It's nice to have a product that works right out of the box and NEWEGG had it to me within 2 days!

Cons: So far, I can't find anything negative to say about this card. I read where other reviewers said the temps run high, so I bought a USB powered fan ($4 ) to blow through the vents on the front of the machine to help with cooling.

Overall Review: I installed this on a Dell Optiplex 620 that has a 305 watt power supply. It has a Dual Core Pentium D and this card works great with this setup. I don't plan to use it for a "gaming" machine, but the Microsoft Flight Simulator X runs on it with no problems at all.

Pros: Fantastic upgrade from an ATI 3460. Running a Del optiplex 745 with a Core 2 duo, 4gb of GSkill Ram, and Windows 7 64bit Ultimate, 1440x900. Can run L4d2 at stock high settings. Can Run Fallout GOTY at High Settings. Both games are at 60FPS most of the time. Does not require extra power cord attached which is great for tiny low profile cases like this. Card Fits like a glove, cooling unit is as flush as the header so it goes great with tiny cases.

Cons: I'm pretty sure this runs a little hot, I will have to check. Idle's at 61C with fan at 22% During games went up around 75C and fan kicked on all the way. I know there are tweaks for this will have to see if I can get the fan running better

Overall Review: For the price I cant complain. I will try and see what I can do about cooling the card if the temps are too high. Other than that great product! Breathes life into systems you might think are worthless!

Pros: Great performance. Low power consumption for a high-end card. If I recall correctly, 75 watts is the maximum a card can get off the PCI-E 16x slot.

Cons: As the other reviewers have said, it runs hot. I put this in a slim uATX machine for a client; it idles around 63C and gets up to 85C under load. It also pushed up the ambient case temperature quite a bit. You really need a dedicated intake or exhaust fan to keep air moving if you use this card. Lots of heat + tiny fan = lots of noise under load. The fan isn't exactly quiet at lower speeds either. Fan speed is controlled by the Nvidia driver rather than hardware on the card, meaning it runs at full blast until you boot into an OS with the driver installed. It's not a deal breaker, but I've never seen anything like this on AMD/ATI video cards.

Overall Review: If you're building a high performance, low profile uATX system and don't mind some fan noise then this is a good choice.

Pros: At first it's loud, but once you've got the drivers installed, it's fairly quiet except for startup. But that's fine.

Overall Review: I haven't been able to fully stress the card out because of my power supply. Note to slimline users: make sure you have the power to supprt this card!

Overall Review: This card served me well for almost 3 years. Bought in 1/2012. Card performed very well until late in year 2. The fan is toast. But for the specs, the card is almost as good as a 8800gtx.

Pros: Comes with low profile bracket Allows me to play Star Wars Battle Front II with all video options on high.

Pros: Runs NFS Shift and AOE3 without hiccups on max res and options @ 1080p. Very energy efficient (see other thoughts) and high performance for the price. Low Profile. HDMI. Comes with brackets for full profile.

Cons: Noise was unbearable prior to installing drivers. After installing drivers, still hear a slight whine. A bit more audible when running games. Does get hot.

Overall Review: System: Dell Optiplex 960 SFF, C2Q Q9550S (2.83GHz), 8GB RAM, Intel 80GB SSD, Hitachi 500GB 2.5" HDD, PicoPSU (PM200W), Draft N Wifi + this Video Card. Testing with Kill-A-Watt, runs at 87W on idle, and 122W on max. Paired with a Dell G2410 monitor, this system runs at about 150W under max load. That's less than 2 light bulbs!
