Built from the same DNA as its bigger brothers, GTX 680, the GeForce GTX 670 brings the performance and features of 28nm Kepler architecture to a more affordable price point. The GTX 670 comes with 1344 CUDA cores and a base clock of 915 MHz, slightly lower than the GTX 680, but is essentially identical in all other aspects. It provides a great upgrade compared to its predecessor, GTX 570 with average 41% performance increase and runs over 50% faster in many demanding DirectX 11 games, while remaining extremely power efficient at 175w TDP with 28nm process. The breakthrough NVIDIA GPU Boost technology pushes the performance to the limit by intelligently increasing clock speed based on actual work load. An array of NVIDIA exclusive technology, such as NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical Sync for stuttering- and tearing-free gaming, NVIDIA Surround with up to four monitors, two new Anti-aliasing modes of FXAA and TXAA, NVIDIA 3D Vision Ready, and NVIDIA PhysX Technology works in concert to ensure you get the most immersive and impressive gaming experience.
Galaxy has once again taken every opportunity to enhance performance in the specially engineered redesign of the GTX 670 GC, which features the same high-end custom PCB and dual-fan cooler found in the Galaxy GTX 680 GC. The latest advances in PCB design make possible a factory overclock to over 1 GHz, and the high efficiency cooler keeps the card running at low temps with whisper-quiet operation.
Kepler GPU ArchitectureNVIDIA's Kepler GPU architecture has been designed from the ground up not just for maximum performance in the latest DirectX 11 games, but optimal performance per watt. The new SMX streaming multiprocessor is twice as efficient as the prior generation and the new geometry engine draws triangles twice as fast. The result is world class performance and the highest image quality in an elegant and power efficient graphics card.
NVIDIA GPU BoostUp until now, GPUs have operated at a fixed clock speed when playing 3D games, even if they have the potential to run faster. GPU Boost intelligently monitors graphics work load and increases the clock speed whenever possible. The result is that the GPU always performs at its peak and you get the highest framerate possible.
NVIDIA Adaptive Vertical SyncNothing is more distracting than framerate stuttering and screen tearing. The first tends to occur when framerates are low, the second when framerates are high. Adaptive V-Sync is a smarter way to render frames. At high framerates, V-sync is enabled to eliminate tearing, at low frame rates, it's disabled to minimize stuttering. It gets rid of distractions so you can get on with gaming.
NVIDIA Surround with Up To Four MonitorsNothing is as breathtaking as playing your favorite games across three monitors. At 5760 x 1080, the expanded field of view fully engages human peripheral vision and provides for the most immersive experience in racing and flight simulators. Add in a fourth display to keep tabs on chat, email or web while you are gaming.
Two New Anti-aliasing Modes: FXAA and TXAAAnti-aliasing smoothes out jagged edges but can be demanding on framerates. FXAA is a new antialiasing technology that produces beautiful smooth lines with minimal performance impact. And with Kepler based GPUs, you'll be able to enable FXAA in hundreds of game titles through the NVIDIA Control Panel. The second mode, TXAA, is an in-game option that combines MSAA, temporal filtering, and post processing for even higher visual fidelity.
NVIDIA 3D Vision ReadyNVIDIA 3D Vision brings a fully immersive, stereoscopic 3D experience to the PC. A combination of high-tech wireless glasses and advanced software, 3D Vision transforms hundreds of PC games into full stereoscopic 3D. Get up to 2x monitor and keyboard brightness with NVIDIA 3D LightBoost technology. In addition, you can enjoy 3D movies and 3D digital photographs in eye popping, crystal-clear quality.

Pros: Great looking card and you can tell the people @ Galaxy put much effort into its engineering. bench mark tests are amazing as are all games fully maxed out. very VERY happy I went w/ this Galaxy 670 GC.
Cons: None with with the Galaxy vid card, but one with Nvidia: It played all games great other than wow. with wow many people with Nvidia cards were receiving the following error: display driver stopped responding and has recovered. the fix was easy: access the nvidia control panel --> manage 3d settings --> and make sure power management mode is set to prefer maximum performance. Again, not a con w/ the Galaxy card this was an Nvidia issue. Google this error and check out the wow tech forums and you'll see. But, it was an easy fix.
Overall Review: 100% happy I went with Galaxy. VERY solid, it will last forever, looks awesome, games are flawless fully maxed, no need to SLI other than benchmarks will go higher and the cool factor.
Pros: This card has been working flawlessly and fast on a daily basis for two years now. I'm an avid BF4 player and need a fast video card. Yeah, there are newer, better ones out there but this card is still running perfectly and is still fast. Galaxy is not one of the big guys but they built this card to last.
Cons: Who reads reviews on expired products no longer produced? I dunno but this card deserves a 5-star review.
Pros: WEI (Windows Experience Index) on 2D and 3D are 8.1 which is great, my old score was 7.8 using a Radeon HD 5870. A little bit of information about the GPU core clock, according to Caps Viewer the base speed is 1006 MHz and a boost speed of 1084 MHz with a memory speed of 3004 MHz (remember it's DDR so 3004 MHz is really 6008 MHz). Now the cool news about this card, if the game requires extra processing power it automatically clocks the GPU to 1215 MHz and wow does the performance come out. To see how much performance the 1215 MHz GPU provides I ran FurMark and Kombustor and they tested the this video card at less than 1% slower than a stock GTX 680 and wow is all I can say about that (after picking my jaw up from the floor). I'm using the NVIDIA 314.22 drivers.
Cons: With all of the good I have found a bad, XtremeTuner Plus (which is a GPU monitoring software that comes with the card (and can be used to over clock the card, really?)) when used in Windows 8 x64 will cause random NVIDIA driver crash so I recommend if you want to monitor your card to use a different program.
Overall Review: I'm using Dual Xeon E5410 and 20 GB of Quad Channel FB DDR2 memory.

So far soooo good2/14/2013 6:12:57 AM
Pros: This baby runs great straight out of the box. She is a bit heavy so the whole thing sits with a slight amount of strain that worries me because as ex-military I traveled a LOT so portability is always a forethought in my mind.
The card was capable of handling two ultra-high mmos with all their settings maxed out simultaneously without an issue (Rift and Aion, considered graphically intense games). I paired this with a 6-core AMD OC'ed to 4.0ghz.
Cons: Everything looks low definition on my 25' high def HP monitor. The blacks are barely black at all and this took a little bit of tweaking between the monitor and card settings to make things look right. Not difficult for anyone who knows how to build a PC but the average user might be a little more invested in the 'can my monitor fully utilize what this graphic card will put out' scenario.
Overall Review: I would not know what to do with myself if I SLI'ed these. One is so powerful already. Now I'm tempted...
Pros: Fast and Reliable. I play Skyrim (60FPS max with maxed settings, 2k HD pack, a ton of graphic enhancement mods and render distance enhancer mod), Guild Wars (Max settings 60+FPS) Assassins Creed III 45-60FPS on moderate settings, though I think very few set ups can really handle ACIII on highest settings with all the objects they have to render, basically moderate for ACIII is like Maxed with mods on Skyrim. Battlefield 3 on Ultra (80+FPS)
It a beast and with good RAM and a fast HDD or SSD you can blow the competition out of the water.
Cons: I only gave it four stars because for some odd reason the HDMI port stopped working after about two months of ownership. It still runs beautifully, though I miss not being able to hook up my TV for my Blu-Ray player I have installed in my PC. This is my first product with Galaxy, and though I am happy with the product (other than the HDMI going out) I am very frustrated with Galaxy customer support, I set on the phone for thirty minutes trying to reach a representative on their supposedly 27/7 number and got nobody. I have even tried several times before and left a message, still nothing. They could have done so much better on customer service. Other than that, it is amazing, I couldn't be happier.
Overall Review: Galaxy Customer Service....its better watching a monkey scratch his sack or a politician be truthful...
Pros: This is a great card, though at first was a little wary because Galaxy hasn't been in this business long. No problems at all, but the card does emit a little coil whine. You won't notice it unless your GPU is under extreme stress, and even then your normal fan will drown it out.
Cons: I guess the little bit of coil whine, but can't be seen as a con because most high end cards have this problem.
Pros: I got this card for cheaper at a different retailer but I thought I'd leave a review here for my fellow Neweggers.
I recently upgraded from an asus 6850 to this GTX 670 GC and its everything I expected. This thing blows the water out off all the games I throw at it. Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Diablo 3, MW3, Mass Effect 3, Saints Row-The 3rd, Fear 3, you get the picture right? All games run amazingly well on max settings at 1980x1080.
I would also like to note that I was able to Overclock the GPU to 1210mz and the memory to 3550mz at stable conditions.
The Cooling on this card is exceptionally good keeping it under 60c at only 50% fan speed at 100% load. Extremely quiet below 50% fan speed but does get a tad loud at 60% and up. The card in general looks great and sturdy.
Cons: Kinda hoped I could overclock it higher, but oh well. Still satisfied with the card.
The logo is upside-down with placed inside the case.
Overall Review: I would highly recommend this card for anyone who has the money to buy it lol.
Overall Review: This is a very nice card.
Performance:
Using the fps ticker in Battlefield 3 on Ultra (somewhat unscientific - I did not do an extensive/thorough benchmark), I averaged 70~, hovering around 100 indoors/no action and occasionally dropping to 50~ outdoors with heavy activity/explosions.
Temps/Noise/Power:
On idle, I sit at 30 degrees C, with approx. 70 under full load at 50% fan speed. I can't hear the card over my case fans at the aforementioned 50% either, which is a plus. I am pleased with the auto-clock/boost clock feature as well, which adjusts the gpu's clock speed depending are what you are doing to save power. Unfortunately I cannot verify exactly how much of a power draw the card is, but the automatic clock works.
Design/Size:
I think it looks better in-hand than in the stock photos - definitely cooler than a reference model. The card takes up 2 slots with the extras fans, almost the exact same size as my old GTX 285.

Took 1 day. Nice job Newegg!
