Anyone have any tips for my first build?

I’m building a PC for my YouTube channel and have about a $600-$700 limit.
I have some parts picked out which I can tell you if anyone responds.

Is this a gaming PC or strictly working on your YouTube channel or like a stream PC? Just wandering to know what to prioritize.

So it’ll mostly be for Minecraft shorts.

Mainly focusing on CPU and GPU. Any cost I see the ryzen 3 4100 u stated for 76 bucks, but I also see a ryzen 5 5500 for 86 bucks ATM. Two more cores 4 more threads. 3.6 base clock vs 3.8 on the 4100 but boost clocks higher at 4.2ghz. would be better in gaming and video editing. The 6600 around 199 to 230. Would be hard to upgrade to an xt with out spending 100 more bucks. And the beam stays at 8gb on both models I believe. And for mince craft and light video editing I think it will do fine and keep ur budget down. I just did some quick research, but as I dig around as I’m a nerd lol I’ll keep you in mind and post any good prices or deals and info I see.

Ok I’ll see if I can get that,
Also thanks

I would focus on the CPU and GPU as the strongest parts and trickle down the parts from there. You don’t NEED 500Gb, but you’ll want 1 Tb. You should get minimum 16 Gb RAM which you do have.

Ok so far I’m doing good then?
As far as parts?

I would grab one of these they will out perform the 6600 in games and editing. Very close to price of 6600. Nvidia works well with most editing software also. The 3060 12g. Would be my choice by they way will help in editing and games. If ur okay with used and refurbished I just bought a refurbished 6950xt it’s running great

Also is it good for ray-tracing?

It was one of the first cards with ray-tracing so it should be somewhat decent if you’re gonna use it for Minecraft

Yup and it has dedicated ray trace and tensor cores. Out performs the 6600 in any ray tracing.

Also the ryzen 3 4100 is going to bottleneck both the 6600 and the 3060 but the ryzen 5 5500 would work well with both

I don’t know much about Minecraft but here’s a link talking about raytrace and the game.
