Although the original three games have been rereleased in various versions over the years, this marks the first time that the other announced games will be rereleased. As Mortal Kombat has had many sequels and spin-offs, it is anyone’s guess as to what the next title will be.
As with previous Digital Eclipse releases (e.g., Atari 50: The Anniversary Collection), there will be previously unreleased behind-the-scenes features and brand-new interviews with both the creators and staff who worked on the games.
