I’m going to build my first pc for around $1200-$1300 and need to know if my parts are good. (I’m buying everything

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
PSU: Rosewill VMG 750W 80+Gold
RAM: G. SKILL Flare X5 16GB 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000

CASE: Montech X3 Mesh
GPU: MSI SHADOW GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB

Not a bad setup overall, what kind of games do you want to play, and at what resolution? Do you plan to live stream your gameplay? NVIDIA has better encoders for that, and it’s basically the primary reason to buy NVIDIA at the price you’re looking at.

Looks good for 1440p do you have a CPU cooler?
If get the 7700X from Newegg it comes with a free MSI 240 AIO which is a great cooler But the 9600X beats the 7700X by about 3% in most cases while using 40watts less power(65W vs 105w) it’s also cheaper

If you want to play modded Minecraft, you may want to re-think most of your build around getting 32GB of RAM. You will get a far better experience with a Socket AM4 platform using 32GB of DDR4 than you would with Socket AM5 and 16GB, regardless of the CPU and RAM being faster. You will very quickly run into maxing out your RAM capacity with only 16GB, and if you don’t have the budget for 32GB of DDR5, then Socket AM4 is your next best bet.

5060 Ti 16GB beats the 9060XT 16GB by about 5% in most tests and is has better raytracing & encoding 9070XT beats both and the 7900XT is sightly below the 9700XT if you can 9700XT in you budget go for it. here’s a list of relative performance

@ArsenalPC the RAM is part of a combo including the 9600x, the RAM and the mobo i will also get a free CPU cooler

Also like I said earlier I will be trying to buy them later this year to try and get everything for cheaper If i get a good deal and can afford to change the 16GB to 32GB(and yes I know you want to buy 1 32 GB rather than two of the same 16GB

If you’re trying to buy things later this year, then there’s absolutely no point in trying to figure out any specifications right now. The market is too volatile to plan a build you plan to assemble next month, let alone later in the year. The combo deals you’re looking at today will expire soon, for things like the free AIO watercooler.

We recommend putting all of these thoughts aside until you’re ready to buy!
