I’m in the mood for something with a great story.
Unfortunately, there are many more games with bad stories than good ones, but here’s a few off the top of my head that do have good stories.

If you wait a year you can get borderlands 4 for 10 USD prolly 
But in seriousness, If you like studio ghibli, Ni No Kuni is that but game form.

Easily, that game about the schedule being less than 2 but greater than 0. iykyk. Great indie game.
