Recent sales figures from Mindfactory, one of Germany’s largest PC retailers, highlight a huge surge in popularity for AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 XT. In a single week, approximately 640 units were sold, nearly equaling the combined sales of all NVIDIA RTX 50 series models sold at the same retailer during that period (655 units total) This phenomenal performance places the RX 9070 XT firmly atop the retailer’s GPU charts, significantly outperforming NVIDIA’s newer entries.
The data reflects not only raw numbers but also clear consumer preference: nearly 80 % of GPUs sold featured 16 GB VRAM, while just 7–8 % were 8 GB variants. Even within the same RX 9000 lineup, demand heavily favored 16 GB models, such as the RX 9060 XT, signifying that German buyers are prioritizing higher memory configurations, likely for future‑proofing and performance flexibility.
Actually went for 7900xtx, i got so mad at 50xx release an another paper relese and no stock, everything was bought by bots besides those who went to stand in microcenter line… nvidia went over big clients they don’t care as they used about gamers. So it’s time to move on and pick what works for you.
I bought my Gigabyte RX 9060 XT a month ago on Newegg, and it has been an absolute blast to play the game I have been playing since it was originally released on New Year’s Eve, 1996 a Diablo! I’ve been out of the gaming PC thing for a few years, and have been stuck playing Diablo III for what seemed like ages on a decent Ryzen 5 Dell laptop, but earlier this year I decided to get back into PV gaming for real. I started off slow by having a guy in Little Rock who’s a well known custom PC builder in the area build me a pretty mild, inexpensive gaming PC. The spec weren’t that impressive, but it was enough to rekindle my spark of interest in gaming and I took the bit and ran with it. The original build was as follows:
MSi MAG PANO 100L black case - when I saw this case, I knew it was the one I wanted because it was so future-proof! The styling is absolutely stunning, and it is so easy to work in with all the space one could want in a top tier gaming PC. The CPU was admittedly a compromise because it was what I could afford, a Ryzen 5 1300 processor. I had to make other compromises as well, as with the motherboard, the MSi Tomahawk B550 ATX board. Although it is a fantastic AM4 board that provides stable power, expand ability, upgrade ability, and will last me a good long while, at least until I decide to upgrade my whole PC to the AM5 platform. I started out with 32 GB of TEAMGROUP 3200 CL16 VULCAN RAM, and when Newegg had a sale on that same RAM at an unbelievably low price, I decided to double my RAM to 64 GB. My original GPU was an MSi GTX 1070 Ti Duke 8GB card. Say what you want, but that’s one helluva good card, and could run Diablo IV on high settings and it ran like a champ. Still, it was the limiting factor when playing most modern AAA game titles, so I upgraded to the latest hotness from AMD, the Gigabyte RX 9060XT 16 GB GPU, and I also bought a Ryzen 5 5600X CPU to help match the upgraded capabilities of the 9060XT. So, long story short, I love the new RX 9960 XT in my mostly MSi build - it’s stable as anything could be, it looks amazing, and runs like a raped ape! I’ve got other ambitions for future builds, because the kink in me wants to try running an Intel GPU in my next build, so I bought an Acer Predator Bifrost A770 16GB GPU from Jawa.gg for cheap in perfectly new condition to throw into my next build that I’m looking for a motherboard next - definitely an AM5 build… Wish me luck! PS… sorry for the crappy photo - it looks 100% better in person!
