there’s a ton of guns in fortnite, how do u choose which one to are good? are melee weapons effective as well? some of my friends play fortnite and i was looking for some tips before playing w/ them

I’d say that the hammer ar got buffed really bad and that I’d take a striker instead.

Seems like they nerfed it, from what I’ve experienced. The damage has been reduced for body shots.

For this season, the best shotgun for beginners is the twin fire auto shotgun, the collateral damage assault rifle is good because it can be used as an assault rifle and a SMG, the myst gauntlets do no damage but if that’s all you have you need the keep jumping while using it, the killswitch revolvers are absolutely OP but remember to not stay slow-mowed for too long at a time because that makes you to easy of a target, lastly the synthwave gauntlets are good for mobility but the myst cloak is better for that and scaling other people’s builds.
