Yes, I believe they are....keep in mind, make sure your CPU cooler does not interfere with the ram slots.....cause there are 4 sticks....enjoy BTW I have these on a 2700x Ryzen..and they work great!! Have fun!

The picture shows 4 sticks of memory, but the description say 16Gb (2 x 8Gb). Is this special for 16GB or 32GB of memory?

This is a 16GB kit with two 8GB sticks of RAM. The other two sticks are dummy sticks so that you can have all four RAM slots filled with RGB-lit sticks. The dummy sticks have lights, but no RAM.

do the dummy sticks effect the other two sticks running in duel channel? has anyone had any problems ?

No problems here, using on Gigabyte z370 Gaming 7 motherboard. Compliments my (almost all) Gigabyte build.
