well those are the expansion slot plug -ins to be very simply put. used for video cards, sound cards, wifi tuners, digital tv tuners.

basicly any feature you want but isn't supported by the motherboard is added to the computer via the expansion slots or usb ect.

PCI would be pretty easy to find for yourself just google it.

Can you automatically overclock your cpu with this mobo by simply pressing a button in the UEFI?

I believe you can, yes. But that's not necessarily the safest option because you could potentially throw your CPU too high. But it does have the functionality simplified.

No.  Your SLI bridges typically come with your video cards.  Alternatively you can purchase them separately.

Short answer is yes. You can run any gpu in sli or crossfire so long as the board has 2 slots with enough of a gap to accomodate the two cards.

The Ram I got with this motherboard is the GSkill DDR3 1600MHz 8GB these look great in case and match this motherboard almost perfect. These are fast ram modules that are reliable could go for more speed if you are into overclocking but these will handle any game easily. Or if your on a budget could go with slower speed ram.

I was wondering if this motherboard is compatible with DDR2 RAM?
