it 'should' work. To be on safe side, I recommend checking memory and proc against Motherboard compatibility.

can the motherboard handle more than 2666 ram speed?

It tops out at 2666.   I had 2 sticks of 3200 it dosent go above 2666

The motherboard supports DDR4 memory standards of 2666, 2400, and 2133 MHz. To support 2666 MHz or higher (such as XMP memory), an 8th Generation Intel Core i7 or i5 processor must be installed.

Is no one able to answer the prior 2 questions asking if this mobo will work with a 9th Gen CPU out of the box?  Please, appreciate the help.

The motherboard supports 8th Generation Intel Core processors, but it is not backward compatible with older generation LGA 1151 CPUs. There is no mention of support for 9th Generation CPUs.
