Overall Review: I'm not sure if this is a con so I didn't put it in there. The temp idles at 56 Celsius, under max load the temp is 83 Celsius. It's probably normal and even though I have a well ventilated case I'm going to get an additional case fan. I bought this card mainly because I thought it would go well with my GIGABYTE GA-MA770T-UD3P mother board. Also because it has Directx 11 and because it has cross fire meaning with the right mother that has 2x PCI-E 2.0 slots you can equip 2 cards and get double the performance.

Pros: beautiful graphics. lots of power. very affordable. never had a problem with any of the games i tried at high or max settings, even AA. fan is near silent and cools very well.

Cons: none, taking two slots is not a big deal. today's graphic cards generate a lot of heat.

Pros: It's been able to run any game I've thrown at it, generally at max settings with a smooth framerate (50+fps, usually way higher). That includes Bioshock 2, Batman, Left 4 Dead 2, Borderlands, UT3, Ghostbusters, and Mass Effect 1. Other good points: *1GB of ram means it can run higher res textures, and at very high resolutions. *Lots of connectivity- 2x DVI, plus HDMI and even Displayport. *Custom cooling looked superior to the other brands' versions of the 5750. *Good performance for the price.

Cons: *No s-video output for my old TV, but that's to be expected. *128-bit memory interface rather than 256-bit. I think the fact that it's DDR5 compensates for this somewhat, though, and the performance and loading times are fine. I really haven't had any issues with this card whatsoever, it's been wonderful.

Overall Review: If you are looking for a mid-range card that run any game out there nicely, this is a very good choice.

Pros: Specs look great on paper, board works great. But only for a while.

Cons: Update: We ended up purchasing 8 of these. As of today 6 of them have died. That's a 75% failure rate.

Overall Review: Big mistake.

Pros: I bought 2 of these and installed them in crossfire on a Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5 motherboard with an AMD Phenom IIx4 965 Black 125w cpu. I did this new build because my 5 year-old computer could not handle the new games. This setup handles newer games at highest settings without a hiccup. The details in the games are amazing. You can even see the seeds on the grasses.

Cons: Card does not come with a crossfire bridge. Had to buy an HIS bridge from Newegg.

Overall Review: I did a lot of review of the motherboard and video cards on Gigabyte's webb site before I decided to buy. I also downloaded the motherboard and video card manuals, and read them thoroughly. I was fairly sure I would be satisfied before I installed them. Other components: 3ea. Pros: Image and video quality are gorgeous. A noticeable improvement over my previous 4670, which was very good itself. I've tried it with Civilization IV and office apps. It's snappier. Price was fair. Lots of ports.

Cons: Fan at idle is a bit louder than I'd hoped, louder than my previous HIS IceQ card. Not horrible, but with the larger heat sink and fan I'd hoped it would be inaudible. With all the ports I thought I could just hook up my two monitors with DVI and my TV with HDMI. It turns out you have to use the display port for a third hookup... or a $100 display port adapter. My fault, I guess, but it seems vendors like Gigabyte are quick to tout Eyefinity and all of their ports, but slow to mention the restrictions. Its not even in the manual.

Overall Review: If I had it to do over, to minimize noise I'd get a PowerColor passively cooled 5750, or the HIS.

Pros: Worked fine out of the box. Windows 7 installed the drivers, I plugged in two monitors, and I was ready to go.

Cons: Just crapped out 7 days outside of Newegg's RMA limit. Attempted RMA through Gigabyte, but the online form which requires my name, will not allow input. So now I need to contact them some other way. Morris code perhaps, because I'd rather toss the thing in the trash than to sit on the phone half the day.

Overall Review: At first I thought it was caused by an automatic Windows update. I restored the system to the day before the update and the card came back. Then when the system went to sleep, the card display disappeared again. Turned the system off overnight, woke up the next day to a normal display, then the system went to sleep and died again. Can't get the card to display since. It should be noted that I'm not a gamer. I thought maybe it was overheating, but that should have happened some other time over the past month because I seldom power the system down. I'm also noticing that after restarts the on-board video isn't holding the resolution settings that I set in Windows.

Pros: Price + Specs = Value.

Cons: We bought 6 of these on a single order. 2 of the 6 died completely within 1 week of installation. Worked fine and then just dead. A third card refuses to work in certain motherboards.

Overall Review: Avoid?
