Revised Review - Because I am a Moron 5/25/2016 11:49:27 AM

Pros: Great card, can't wait to buy another once the price drops. See the other section, I feel like I owe GIGABYTE an apology.

Runs E:D maxed out.

I don't have to many graphically demanding games, but Metro LL runs great, Project: Cars is smooth. Fallout 4 runs great at ultra.

It's a good high end graphics card for those who want HBM but don't have the space or want to pay for a Fury X.

Cons: AMD's driver game is weak. If you have any desire to run linux and game (ie SteamOS) get something from nVidia.

Overall Review: I originally rated this product 'one egg' because I believed it to be faulty. It was not, what happened was a roommate must have accidentally poured Gatorade or some kinda of beverage into my case in a drunken stupor. I got impatient waiting for customer service, I thought I'd trouble shoot, and found a bunch of green sticky liquid around my PSU. The PSU was rated at a high enough wattage to handle the card, which is why I initially blamed GIGABYTE. Turns out, it just drew enough power to trip out the ticking time bomb that was my PSU. I didn't discover this until I started digging around.

I should really be thanking GIGABYTE for, in a roundabout way, alerting me to my impending fire hazard PSU and dishonesty of my roommates.

Thank you GIGABYTE.

Amazing Card 3/22/2016 7:29:57 PM

Pros: -Insane performance
-Stays cool
-Lower TDP than 300 series cards

Cons: -Some coil whine at FPS above 60, but I tend to aim for a 60 fps lock so this issue doesn't concern me.

Overall Review: I run a 2560x1080 ultrawide monitor and I can easily get a locked 60fps on ultra on any game I've tried so far.

Excellent Performer 3/19/2016 5:30:49 PM

Pros: Incredibly fast, no frames drop with 3440X1440 thus far. Play BF4, BFH, WOT, SWTOR, The Division, Titanfall and all is well.

Cons: None that I can think of as it works perfectly. My Gigabyte laptop also works perfectly. As does my Gigabyte motherboard with dual bios. I have had outstanding support and assistance with Gigabyte so far and hope that continues.

card was doa 3/17/2016 10:53:57 AM

Pros: none

Cons: card was dead on arrival.... Driver crashes, black screens.. constant video_tdr failure

Overall Review: open opening the shipping box and removing the Gigabyte box, upon opening the Gigabyte box I noticed the gigabyte box had about a 1" tear in the box as if had been oped before, as in possibly a returned card that had been resold.. I feel Gigabytes quality control of their graphics cards have went down hill.. very disappointed in Gigabyte..

1440p Ultra Wideee 12/2/2015 7:52:49 AM

Pros: Good card, fits behind Fury X without the Radiator, lags behind the 980 ti (hopefully future driver support helps). I'm currently running this on an older AMD FX990 board. Pushing an Acer 34" 3440 × 1440p. Awesome real estate and plays games like Battlefront, GTAV, Tera fluidly on mostly Ultra settings no MSAA et al. (25-37 fps). Direct X 12 Support... no titles out atm. HBM is stupid fast. Loading for games is unreal at times. Def noticable vice my old r9 290 XFire setup.

Limited Overclockability. Pushing 1075 Core. Would like 1100 stable. No Memory OC or voltage adjustment. Hopefully future software patch.

Cons: Stomped by 980 Ti in single card duel. Pricey, but if you're researching cards at this pricepoint, money isn't too much a concern, but value. Overclocking limitations, hopefully software based.

Overall Review: HBM fast, quiet, no humongous radiator. Competitive in price vs Fury X. Free Starwars Battlefront Game. Radeon Settings simpler install. Gigabyte OC monitoring and OC utility is clean/simple. Fits in Fractal R4 with the hard drive cage removed. Powered by XFX 850W PSU (overkill imo, older rig for xfire setup).
