On this current version, is the Bios needing to be flashed to run a I9-14900K ?

No. This board is 14th gen ready out of the box.

Question 2

Purchased this item and still no manual in the box. Did find the manual online at manufacturer site. Having issues. The no power to usb for mouse/keyboard on the back panel and no video? Any advice would be appreciated.

If some back USB ports are not working, check your dongles or wires.  Try several devices.  Do they work in some ports and not others?  If so then you probably need to return the board and get a replacement, if still in warranty period.  I have the same motherboard and everything works as it should.

Are there difficulties in installing and setting up the bios drivers for this motherboard?

The only challenge that I experienced  was that wifi was not enabled in bios at time of install. Everything else is relatively straight forward.

What is the version of the board sold by you and are those sold on the website still from the same defective batch that several here complained about?

The newest pcb layout is v1.2; it has Qualcomm wifi instead of the 1st gen Mediatek and the 2nd gen Intel. Good luck getting any company to tell you which version you will get.  They all try to pawn off old stock first.

There appears to be a newer version that launched with the 14th gen that comes in a black box and not the white one pictured here. Does anyone know if this is in fact the new model ?

There are the Z790 Aorus Elite X, Aorus Master X and Aorus Extreme X that come in black boxes.  Those boards are also black.  But it appears that the Z790 Aorus Pro X only comes in white.  They show 4 models at the Gigabyte site, and the Pro X is the white one.

Nope. Bought it. same problem. It doesn't exist right now lol. There are links that are dead. Seemed fishy, but everything is running fine now.

Go to the Gigabyte website and search for the product then go to the support link and choose the version(you can find this on the box) from there you will see an option for manuals
