Can this hub allow you to control the RGB of each fan individually or are all fans controlled together?

Unfortunately not. "Hub" is just their misleading name for a splitter.e. everything plugged into it does the same thing at the same time .

Does this only work with asus products? Im not using any asus products but I still need an argb hub.

As per the previous responses, it works with ASUS AURA SYNC, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light and ASRock RGB LED. I am using it with a mix of ARGB Thermaltake and Corsair components plugged into the hub, and then the hub into one of the 3-pin 5v headers on my Gigabyte Z390 Master motherboard, and it works perfectly controlled with the Gigabyte Fusion software.

What is the maximum power can this hub provides? Or how many LEDs in particular? I have lots of ARGB devices.,

Basically, the hub is like a 5v 3pin splitter, only it also provides power from the PSU. It works on 5V; plugged in to your power supply via SATA. (Don't try to plug 12V things into this: you could damage pins, fry the ARGB thing, fry the port or even your motherboard.) One of the 3 pin ports needs to connect to your motherboard; so that's 9 ARGBs you can power from the hub- unless you daisy chain a few with additional splitters. Your motherboard's manual will tell you how many it can handle when in a series. For example, my MSI MEG Ace can handle up to 5 5V in a series. Still, you *might* be fine going over that using the hub, since there is extra power coming from the PSU. You'll know by reduced brightness of the individual ARGBs if you've plugged in too many. NOTE: as with a splitter, anything plugged into this hub will act as one. So if you plan to have your 5V light strip do a different color/pattern than your 5V ARGB fans (for example), you'll need to plug the light strip somewhere else on your motherboard instead of the hub.

One thing I'll add: pay attention to where this is shipping from and how long it can take, given current events. If you're cool waiting then it doesn't matter. But if you need it NOW, look before you buy.

Just got mine. Get power but no control over RGB. No instructions came with it, no website. Is there a specific port out to mobo? not labeled.

No. You should be able to just pick any one of the RGB ports, plug it in there and then the other end to your 3 pin MOBO header.

will this work for asus b450-f motherboard it only has a 4pin hook up ?

Is it ok use small magnetics to mount this in the rig instead of double sided tape?

Magnets in or near a computer are always never a good idea. That's why the manufacturer used adhesive strips that come with the product.

What is the max number of amps the splitter will allow for each connector and total for hub, or is it limited to the mobo header?

It's dependent on the mobo header, i.e. 5v header on the motherboard. I am currently plugged into 6 of the 10 header slots on the hub, with the hub plugged into one of the two 5v headers on my motherboard (also have my ARGB power supply plugged into the other 5v header on the motherboard), and everything is bright and runs perfectly.

Will this work on without a Motherboard header? My motherboard doesnt have on and i'm looking for a solution to run an argb led strip.

No, it will not. You need an aRGB source (from the mobo) to run whatever you have attached to it.

my motherboard has no rgb headers, so i just power this with sata and im good to go > ?

Unfortunately no. As far as I can tell this device splits the signal an argb header outputs so you can control multiple devices with the one header.  The sata power connection just adds extra power to compensate for all the extra load going to the one header.

Can this be controlled with the corsair icue software?

In short, no. You have to buy an adapter cable that links Corsair products, which have their own type of connection, to regular 5V ARGB connectors on the MOBO. I found one in a link on their forums, but the way this cable works is it allows Corsair products to be controlled by the MOBO software.
