DX115 DC Hard Drive Carrier

The CRU DX115 DC hard drive carrier is designed for digital movie distribution. It takes 3.5” and 2.5” SAS or SATA drives*, and offers amazing protection for your inserted drive. After installing your drive into the carrier, you can insert the carrier into CRU DX115DC frame in digital cinema servers or ingestion racks.

With a “Serial Repeater Chip” located on the Frame PCI, it provides a blazing-fast data transfer speed of 6 Gbps. Complete with the exclusive "Auto Start" feature and a host activity LED feature, the rugged DX115 DC hard drive carrier provides a user-friendly way to transport digital content.

High Speed

The DX115 DC hard drive carrier works with the DX115 DC hard drive frame to deliver a blistering-fast data transfer rate of 6 Gbps when it’s used with a 6 Gbps drive and host configuration. It is also backwards compatible with 3 Gbps drives and hosts.

Unique "Auto Start" Feature

The exclusive "Auto Start" feature allows the DX115 DC drive carrier to be automatically powered up seconds after the carrier has been installed, without having to push the on/off button.

New Host Activity LED Feature

The DX115 DC carrier offers a new Host Activity LED feature which allows the choice of having the disk drive or the PCI host adapter control the Host Activity LED on the DX115 DC Frame.

Rugged Housing

Made of high-quality steel and aluminum material, the rugged carrier protects the drive from the hazards of travel.
