As promised, it doesn't overhang RAM or your GPU. I did however, remove my RAM while I installed the fan just to give my clumsy fingers a little more room. Way better cooling over the stock fan. If you're a newbie, or you're just old like me and your fingers have turned into sausages from 2 decades of mouse and keyboard 12 hours a day, this thing is surprisingly easy to install. Just RTM and you'll be fine.
