Pros: Easy to set up and booted up on first try.
Cons: a little expensive
Overall Review: Fantastic
Overall Review: Great
Pros: Works as advertised to keep an old video capture option alive
Pros: Works great on my ASUS Prime TRX40-PRO S. This one is my boot drive.
Pros: Fast... oh, I already said that. Works great on my ASUS PRIM TRX40-PRO S. I have two of them as a RAID for video editing and After Effects compositing/animation.
Pros: Dropped right in and worked from the start on my ASUS Prim TRX40-PRO S. So far no issues.
Cons: Price is better than Intel but still a little steep. Wish I could have gotten the 3970 but it was too much money.
Pros: Looks great and runs fine on my Asus Prim TRX40-PRO S
Pros: A nice modular unit with plenty of power and quiet to boot.
Cons: It was a little expensive
Pros: Good trade-off for price vs 980 or 980TI. Worked well on my older board and was a big improvement over my old 570
Cons: a little costly
Pros: Setup was easy and its a great size to use with After Effects and video editing. No dead pixels and excellent color right out of the box
Cons: A little costly
Pros: Installed well and works well. No issues on Windows 10.
Cons: A little costly, even with the discount
Pros: Installed this card in my new build over 3 years ago and it runs great. I love that it runs cool without any help as the box it sits in is upstairs where it is warmer. It still rates pretty high in performance despite its age. I am glad I spent the extra for the card when I did this build.
Pros: Have 24 GB of this ram in my system and they have been solid performers. Used for video editing and After Effects and does not waver.
Pros: Completed a solid build that does very heavy renders in After Effects and other power user programs and has held true. Installed with Windows 7 and now 8.1 and no issues.
Pros: Installed in a heavily used PC for Video and Animation with numerous drives and fans. Runs upstairs where it warmer than the rest of the house and it has remained faithful for over 3 years
Pros: A DX10 card for vista that performs very well for just under $200.00 and has 512MB RAM.
Cons: It does run a little warm... 60C (Idle). I put my Zalman 9500 on it and brought it down to 40C (Idle)
Overall Review: If you want DX10 and 512MB RAM without breaking the bank, this is the fastest option out there.
Pros: Very fast... Boot up in Vista in under 30 seconds.. New Egg's shipping was almost as fast! A great way to make the system and programs load faster.
Cons: A little more noise than regular drives. Sounds a little like a coffee perkulator... kinda like the old hard drives use to sound, but quieter.
Overall Review: I had some clicking noise after about four days but discovered it was a bad connector that occasionally lost connection forcing the drive to park the driver's head as well as crashed the computer... Sounded a lot like the clicks one gets before the drive goes baddddd... Once I fixed the connector all was well.
Pros: I have used this cooler on two separate video cards. On my overclocked ATI 850Pro it cooled the processor from 72C down to 35C. Currently I have it on an overclocked 8600GTS and it took the processor from 59C down to 39C.
Cons: I wish the manufacturer kept an updated list of what cards this fit on.
Overall Review: Needed to buy some more adhesive for the ram heatsinks.
Pros: Purchased an ATI 850 and opened all 16 pipelines and upped the core/memory to XT levels. My temps prior to installing this cooler were 72 C doing modest tasks. After the cooler was installed my temp went down to 34 C doing modest tasks. The cooler mounted easily.
Overall Review: I did install copper memory heatsinks instead of the aluminum ones provided. The cooler does preclude using the slot below the video card but I normally leave that slot blank anyway.Than you to Zalman and Newegg.
Pros: Very large case for those who need room. Super air flow to keep inside cool. Easy access to everything and yes the lights are cool. New Egg delivery is its usuall perfection. Very well pleased with it for all of its perks and price.
Cons: The Armor is worthless and the lock downs to hold the add-on cards are flimsy.
Overall Review: Get rid of the armor and improve the lock downs to hold the cards in and you have an excellent case.
Pros: Super Fast and Super Reliable - An excellent purchase. New Egg was fast with delivery as ususal
Pros: New Egg Shipping is supurb and the card has 512 MB of RAM
Cons: This card is slower than my old 9800Pro for video editing. I checked the specs and found out that my old 9800 Pro bandwith was 21.76 MB while this 1600 Pro is only 12.48 MB..... The pixelfill and Texture fill rates are only two thirds as good as the 9800 Pro...
Overall Review: Discontinue this card
Comments: Good card for the money but if you want a Pro - Get a pro
This card also gave me black horizontal lines on my second monitor every time I open a new program - not much for confidence
I am returning this card and getting a true ATI Pro
Comments: Superb power supply... Very quiet and stable power to boot! No problems installing and I loved the additional power connector for my ATI 9800 and the connectors for my SATA drives is a nice feature. Great price from NewEgg and fast delivery.
Comments: Very nice fan. Soooo much quieter than the stock Intel fan and a couple of degrees c cooler too. I might try some Artic 5 later to see if I can get it down a few more degrees. So far as the rest of you who can't seem to get it to work.... Sounds like bad case flow. Mine stays at 30 degrees celsius at idle and climbs up to 52 degrees when doing 3D work in Maya, which is very, very demanding. And I am upstairs in the hottest room to boot.
