Works very well

D-Link PowerLine AV Mini Adapter Starter Kit (DHP-311AV) Includes 2 Adapters, Up To 200Mbps
D-Link PowerLine AV Mini Adapter Starter Kit (DHP-311AV) Includes 2 Adapters, Up To 200Mbps

Pros: - Super easy to setup, plug and play - Good speeds for almost anything you would actually use this for (streaming movies, music, file transfers, etc).

Cons: - Can't run a super-server through it? But seriously... who's going to do that without running a hard line...? Yea.

Overall Review: 99.9% of people don't need anything faster than this in my opinion. I used this to connect my HTPC downstairs to stream movie content from a NAS server box on the network. Speed was never an issue. I recommend this to pretty much anyone if you can find it for ~$30-$35.

Most Critical Review
ARK ITX/CS-CI03 Black Mini ITX Server Chassis Internal 200W
ARK ITX/CS-CI03 Black Mini ITX Server Chassis Internal 200W

Pros: - 4x HS bays - Size - Relatively quiet case operation

Cons: - Price - CHEAP quality materials - No documentation whatsoever

Overall Review: ALL of the front panel clips were broken upon arrival. I had to glue them back on and they are basically now permanently attached to the case. You can tell that they were low quality to begin with. Came with ABSOLUTELY NO INSTRUCTIONS OR DOCUMENTATION OF ANY KIND. Not a single sheet of paper with words on it shipped with this product.

Good drive - would recommend

Seagate Desktop HDD ST3000DM001 3TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Space and reliability per dollar

Cons: Only a couple of small data corruptions found, not a big deal

Overall Review: I've had 3 of these running in a ZFS RAID5 as a NAS for over 2 years now. I bought a 4th because I no longer need a lot of space but I need the highest reliability off of 4 dives (the most my small server space will fit) so I bought this 4th one to switch to a RAID10. I only had 2 instances where I was writing files and they became corrupted. It was only 2 (separate) pictures though. I would monthly scrub the RAID5 in FreeNAS and still didn't have any major failures in 2 years. The system was had an uptime of roughly 75% over the two years (I didn't need 24-7 access to my NAS so I would shut it down sometimes). I would recommend these drives to a friend.

Nice product

Logitech LS21 7 Watts RMS (FTC) 2.1 Stereo Speaker System - Black
Logitech LS21 7 Watts RMS (FTC) 2.1 Stereo Speaker System - Black

Pros: - Works fine - Small - Easy setup

Cons: - The speakers are kinda lame looking... see below.

Overall Review: The speakers are kinda lame looking... but seriously I got these for $15 to replace a broken 5.1 setup and have them on a PC I don't really need high-quality sound through. I watch movies and TV shows through them just fine and get "good" sound quality.

Good little board

BIOSTAR A68I-350 Deluxe R2.0 AMD Fusion APU 350D AMD A68 Mini ITX Motherboard / CPU Combo

Pros: - Running a 24/7 Ubuntu server with no glaring issues - Simple to use bios interface - No heating issues or anything - Good working board from what I can see

Cons: - None from what I have experienced.

Overall Review: Another pro is that this board fits these new durned "mini-ITX" cases that are pretty sweet looking but hard to find "good" boards for... They need to start making some sweeter looking compact-style micro-ATX's :-\ or some more powerful mini-ITX boards.

Works well for us

D-Link Xtreme-N Duo Wireless Bridge/Access Point (DAP-1522) Wireless N300, Dual-Band, Fast Ethernet

Pros: - Simple setup - Strong signal - No signal hiccups yet - Nice design

Cons: - None for me - Some people may not like the bright blue lights on the front if they like to work in the dark or have it in a room where you like to watch movies in the dark, you'll see the blinking blue lights.

Overall Review: After reading reviews on this product I was skeptical to purchase it for our home. But, it went on sale for a cool $80 and I already have a DIR-825 that it matches nicely with, and I'm a sucker for things that match. We live in a 2,200 sqft home and the DIR-825 is in the bonus room over the garage. The wireless signal was extremely weak in the other end of the house where my wife's office was. We put this device in the greatroom in the center of the house and now have excellent wireless signal everywhere! And I didn't realize when purchasing this that it's still one localized wireless signal, you don't have to setup to connect to each one individually. You'll only see one connection in the house (that's yours) which makes life easy.
